Support and Information—In College Wellbeing Coordinators studentwellbeing@hillsroad.ac.uk If you would like any support about any aspect of life or would like someone to listen to what’s going on for you then why not drop in and see one of the Wellbeing Coordinators. You can drop in for a chat, we are based on the guidance corridor, or email us for an appointment. If you need to speak to someone urgently and neither of the wellbeing coordinators is available you can go to Students Services in the Zone and speak to a Counsellor member of staff there. counsellor@hillsroad.ac.uk If you feel that some counselling sessions would be helpful then get in contact with Jane Elsey, the college counsellor. There may be many reasons for seeking counselling, including emotional difficulties such as depression, anxiety, stress, loneliness, bereavement, sexual and relationship problems or to gain a deeper insight into yourself and your experiences. The counselling service offers a confidential place to think about and reflect on anything a student wishes to explore with the counsellor. Safeguarding Officers There are four Safeguarding Officers in college who you can speak to if you feel unsafe physically, emotionally or sexually. Lucy Edevane, Anna Moore, Ian Perry and Patrick Barrett.
We hope that you find the information in this booklet useful. If there are any organisations you feel should be included please contact the wellbeing team and we will look at including them. ‐11‐
