new faces! As you know, NSP is all about bringing our neighbors together. Over the last year, we've seen more and more neighbors come together to support NSP and enjoy the events we’ve all come to love. Last year, we created a new event, Rock the Park. With bands and food trucks, it was a huge hit. We were so happy to see so many new faces. It was truly a fun day at the park. Many thanks to Music Grand Effect, Berretta Grove, Rudy Gil, Streekind and DJ Bert for putting on such a great show. It rocked! Our signature Halloween event was amazing. In fact, we even had a frozen beverage truck on 32 Street. Huge hit – the pink lemonade hit the spot... NSP’s Miracle at Schenley Park was bigger and better than ever before at its new venue. Holiday music,
treats and a visit from jolly ol' Saint Nick made for a fun afternoon at he park. Best of all, we were able to finish off the night with a movie under the stars. Thank you to all who donated so many toys. MCH's Radio Lollipop distributed them to hospitalized children on Christmas morning. I want to thank our NSP board as well as the next door neighbors of the park for helping make all our events a success. I would also like to thank Miami Children's Hospital, Chairwoman Rebeca Sosa and her staff for their generous support, which has made our community events a reality. Join us on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 10am at Schenley Park (corner of 57th Avenue and 28th Street). The day will be filled with exciting FREE activities for the entire family: egg hunt, potato sack races, kid's crafts, prizes, sno-cones, cotton candy, popcorn, food trucks, music, a bounce house and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Bring your picnic blankets and enjoy a day at the park. Don't be late...the Egg Hunt will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Remember to bring your Easter Basket or Bag!
