Festival takes place on Trg kralja Tomislava (“Tomislavac” to the locals) and brings the works of Croatian and international composers from the biggest stages to beautiful outdoor surroundings, creating a real harmony of music and nature that is sure to stir the soul. The meticulous selection of the artists guarantees performances of the highest quality, and the classical music lovers of the city provide the perfect accompanying atmosphere. This music was made famous in concert halls but is even more romantic when enjoyed on the grass with the sky for company.
Audiences don’t get many opportunities to enjoy such sophisticated sounds in casual clothing, adding another layer of charm to an already magical experience. Classical music is all about harmony, melody and atmosphere, and the Zagreb Classic open air festival is a quite stunning example. All of the concerts start at 9 pm, and entry is free, so just find your place on the grass and let the music take you away to a magical place.
