It’s a home run. The Syracuse Mets are a hometown favorite and the Triple-A baseball team of the New York Mets. The Mets call the recently renovated NBT Bank Stadium home. The regular 2023 home season runs from April 4, 2023 through September 24, 2023.

The Syracuse Crunch are the AHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning. In addition to supporting the semi-pro leagues in town, area residents cheer on their college and University favorites, including the 2022 NCAA Division I men’s soccer champions of Syracuse University. Local teams include the Syracuse University Orange , Division II LeMoyne College Dolphins and the NJCAA Onondaga Community College Lazers .
