Dedicated to preserving the history, artifacts and legacy of the Historic Village of Lewisburg, Ohio
Lewisburg Train Depot ca.1890
The depot is the meeting location for th e Society and holds Lewisburg area memorabilia. Meetings are held monthly the second Tuesday at 7:00 PM .
B & O Caboose #90369 ca 1918
The Baltimore and Ohio Caboose is located just south of the depot. It has been fully restored to the time when it was active.
H. E. Singer’s Blacksmith Shop, ca. 1895
It was one of the last blacksmith shops in Lewisburg when it closed in 1932. Story goes Mr. Sing er hung up his apron , locked the door and walked out. It remained untouched for decades until his daughter donated it to the Historical Society. Monthly demonstrations.
