Launching in early 2026, the Explore Pickaway Visitors Guide will offer a fresh look at the people, places, and experiences that define our county. Designed to inspire both visitors and locals, the guide will highlight Pickaway’s unique blend of small-town charm, local dining, outdoor recreation, and year-round events.

With updated photography, itineraries, and insider tips, the guide will be distributed across 495 locations in Ohio and available digitally at Pickaway.com and through the Discover Pickaway app, helping travelers explore, stay, and connect with our community

2025 Executive Summary

Tourism Impact, Community Value, and Strategic Outcomes

The Pickaway County Visitors Bureau (PCVB) promotes travel and tourism to strengthen the local economy, support jobs, and enhance quality of life for residents. In 2025, PCVB focused on collaboration, strategic marketing, and community-centered initiatives that delivered measurable economic and community benefits across Pickaway County.

Community & Economic Impact

PCVB worked alongside local businesses, organizations, and community partners to enhance visitor experiences and drive consumer spending throughout the county.

Formation of the Pickaway County America 250 Committee, bringing together museums, historical groups, and civic leaders to prepare for the nation’s 250th anniversary

Destination Marketing

Support for early America 250 programming, including The American Constitution film premiere, which drew strong local attendance

Continued success of experiential trails including: Pickaway Coffee Trail, Pickaway Pizza Trail, Circleville History Walk, and the Pickaway Blooms Agritourism Tour.

These initiatives encourage both residents and visitors to explore local businesses, downtowns, and attractions.

PCVB built awareness of Pickaway County through strategic marketing partnerships and digital storytelling.

The Explore Pickaway regional campaign through the TourismOhio Co-Op delivered more than 530,000 impressions in drive-market audiences.

PCVB’s social platforms reached nearly 300,000 people over the past 12 months, an 84% increase year over year.

The Discover Pickaway app and Pickaway.com calendar hosted more than 980 events, becoming essential tools for visitors and residents.

PCVB also proudly represented Pickaway County at Ohio Tourism Day, the Ohio State Fair, and the Pickaway County Fair, connecting with travelers from across the state and sharing the heart of our community.

Tourism-generated tax revenues help offset the local tax burden while supporting services, infrastructure, and community amenities.
