DAY 1 PUERTO MALDONADO / COCHA CAIMAN Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, the capital of biodiversity of Peru, you will receive at the airport. Then we start our program with a visit by bus around the city. Then we head to Port Captaincy, where you wait for the boat to sail in the Lower Rio Madre de Dios (Rio Serpentine) to the hostel, located thirty kilometers from the city of Puerto Maldonado. Along the way, you will see rural land intended for agricultural and livestock activities near the city. Upon arriving at the hostel, you will be greeted with a delicious tropical fruit nectar Amazon and driven to your comfortable room (bungalow), reserved for the occasion. Once installed, a delicious lunch will be waiting in our cozy dining room rustic design. COCHA CAYMAN: In the afternoon, will be led by our specialized guide through a path signposted to the Cocha Cayman, a small lagoon where you will have the opportunity to observe the black alligator and caiman, efficient predators at the top of the food chain, living the abundant wildlife of the inlet water, represented by fish species. At the end of the evening, you will witness the spectacular sunset in the Amazon, experience a full range of color intensities and awe. Returning to the lodge, I will wait for a delicious dinner and have free time to share unforgettable moments in our bar with a great games room and provided with all the drinks you can imagine. Remarks: lunch and dinner included DAY 2 LAKE APU VICTOR - MONKEY ISLAND The magic starts with the songs of birds of paradise Amazon, waking to the song of the howler monkey. A hearty breakfast will provide the energy needed for a morning full of new experiences. LAKE APU VICTOR: After breakfast, we trek into the deep forest, following trails prepared conveniently maintained and signposted. On the way, we will cross the coastal forest to higher forests, and then descend to flooded forests, to rise again to hill forests. Along the way, we will witness the most varied range of flora and fauna in the wild. On the way, identify species of fruit trees, forest trees and medicinal support to animal and human populations in Amazonian forests. These include the water hole, mahogany, chestnut, catahua, cedar, faceted, copaiba, the shihuahuaco. Animals such as the tapir and the peccary; rodents such as the giant otter, capybara, paca and armadillo; Preserve or primates as howler monkeys and leoncillio puffin, black or cappuccino Martin, etc..
