CULINARY TOUR (PRIVATE SERVICE) It is said that Lima’s most attractive scenery can be seen on its dishes. In this vast city the nation’s gastronomic traditions – one of the world’s most varied and exquisite cuisines - come together, with meals incorporating the flavors of the coast, the highlands and the Amazon. Lima has enchanting restaurants, many of which are almost as attractive as the menus themselves. Thi s great metropolis is the only capital built on the shores of the Pacific, and it pays due homage to the fruits of the sea. Cebiche, fish marinated in lemon juice, is Peru’s national dish, and that is why travelers should take the time to visit the city’s markets, those temples of color and aromas.
