DAY 2: CITY TOUR - PILPINTUHUASI - SERPENTARIUM - LODGE Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to EXPLORAMA pier. Boat trip down the Amazon River, covering 40 kms downstream to Ceiba Tops, where each room has air conditioning and private bathrooms with hot water and are surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens. Afternoon walk around the beautiful primary forest surrounded by large trees, like the giant tree of Ceiba which gave name to the hostel. (Lunch at Ceiba Tops) .

After dinner there may be local flute or guitar music at the Bar "El Tucan" or the guides are always ready to relate some of the many legends of the Amazon. Overnight Ceiba Tops DAY 3: CEIBA TOPS - IQUITOS Breakfast. Excursion early morning for those who wish to observe birds. After breakfast, boat excursion looking for the two types of river dolphins, gray and pink on the way to visit a small community of Native Yaguas where your guide will explain their culture. There will be opportunity to see some of the local crafts and for a demonstration of the blowgun because now some of the Yaguas still use for hunting. Lunch (if departure flight permits) Time, return to the city of Iquitos and transfer to airport for flight to Lima.
