Programa: Cusco & Machu Picchu 4 Días / 3 Noches Día 1: Cusco Arribo a Cusco - Visita de la Ciudad, Sacsayhuaman y complejos arqueológicos cercanos Arribará a la ciudad de Cusco para ser trasladado a su hotel. Tendrá el resto de la mañana libre para descansar y adaptarse a la altura. Por la tarde, disfrutará de una visita a la impresionante ciudad colonial, construida sobre las bases de palacios incaicos. Iniciará su recorrido visitando el Korikancha o Templo del Sol, donde podrá apreciar el finísimo trabajo que los incas realizaban sobre la piedra; luego hará una parada en la Plaza de Armas para visitar la Catedral, con sus delicados trabajos de madera tallada e impresionantes altares, y la hermosa iglesia de La Compañía. Continuando con el tour se dirigirá hacia Sacsayhuamán, fortaleza con ubicación estratégica, que ofrece una visión sin igual de la ciudad. Apreciará también otros complejos arqueológicos como Kenko, Tambomachay y tendrá una vista panorámica de Puca Pucará. Alojamiento en Cusco. Día 2: Cusco Valle Sagrado de los Incas-Mercado de Pisac y Ollantaytambo Se dirigirá al Valle Sagrado de los Incas, tomando la ruta hacia Pisac. Hará una parada en el camino para tener una vista clásica del río Urubamba, serpenteando a través de tapices de cultivos. Llegará al colorido mercado de Pisac, donde dispondrá de tiempo libre para interactuar con los pobladores y artesanos, además de realizar compras de artesanías y recuerdos. Continuará hacia Urubamba para un almuerzo buffet en un restaurante de la localidad. Finalmente, visitará Ollantaytambo, atractivo poblado de origen incaico con notables canales y calles empedradas. En su parte alta se levanta un impresionante centro ceremonial de culto al agua y una fortaleza que custodiaba el acceso a la parte inferior del valle. Alojamiento en Cusco. Día 3: Cusco Machu Picchu "Ciudadela Sagrada" Visitará uno de los centros energéticos más importantes del mundo: Machu Picchu. La excursión se hará por tren y durante el recorrido tendrá una impresionante vista del paisaje del Valle Sagrado del Urubamba. A su llegada a Aguas Calientes, abordará el bus que lo conducirá a la ciudadela. Será una experiencia inolvidable, donde un guía profesional le transmitirá la historia que envuelve este misterioso y encantador recinto. Luego de la visita guiada, gozará de tiempo libre para explorar la zona por propia cuenta, relajarse o meditar. A la hora acordada, descenderá al pueblo de Aguas Calientes para almorzar. Por la tarde, abordará el tren de retorno. A su arribo a la estación de Ollanta o de Poroy, será trasladado a su hotel. Día 4: Cusco 1


A hora oportuna, será trasladado al aeropuerto para abordar el vuelo a su siguiente destino.

CUSCO AND MACHU PICCHU 4 DAYS/3 NIGHTS Day 1: Cusco city tour, Sacsayhuaman, and nearby archeological sites You arrive in the city of Cusco and are taken to your hotel, where the rest of the morning is free time to rest and to acclimate yourself to the elevation. The afternoon is set aside for a tour of the incredible colonial city, whose buildings the Spanish constructed on top of the foundations of Incan palaces. You begin at the Korikancha, the Temple of the Sun, to witness the exquisite stone work achieved by the Incas. Next stop is the Main Square for a tour of the Cathedral to see its fabulous wood carvings and impressive altars and the lovely Church of La Compañia de Jesus (Society of Christ). Following that, you head upwards to Sacsayhuaman, a fortress located in a strategic spot high above the city with a view that is absolutely stunning. You will also visit some other archaeological complexes such as Kenko and Tambomachay, and you will have a panoramic view of Puca Pucara. Accomodations for the night in Cusco. Day 2 Sacred Valley of the Incas – Pisac Market and Ollantaytambo Today, you will set off for the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the way, you will make a stop to marvel at the classic view of the Urubamba River snaking its way through the vale. Your journey continues to the small village of Pisac, and there you will walk through its lively market and have some free time to interact with the townsfolk and artisans and to shop for handicrafts and souvenirs. You will eat a buffet lunch at the town of Urubamba, and then visit Ollantaytambo, a lovely town constructed by the Incas, whose streets are cobble stoned and where a man-made canal brings fresh water right into the city limits. At the upper part of the town, there is an impressive ceremonial center that was used for water worship and a mighty fortress that protected the access point to the lower part of the valley. Day 3 Sacred City of Machu Picchu You are going to visit one of the most important energy centers of the world: Machu Picchu. You will travel by train to the town of Aguas Calientes, an experience in which you will see the striking scenery of the Sacred Valley. Upon your arrival, you will be driven to the archeological site, the visit of which will be an unforgettable experience, with a professional tour guide to impart to you all the history that surrounds this mysterious and enchanting place. Once the guided tour is over, you will have some free time to explore the site on your own, to relax, or to meditate. At the agreed upon hour, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train later that afternoon for the return trip. Once you have arrived at either the Ollantaytambo or Poroy Station, you will be driven to your hotel. Day 4 Cusco – Departure At the scheduled time, you will be driven to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
