A trip to the observation deck is rewarded with expansive views overlooking the Continental Divide and the Town of Pagosa Springs. Reservoir Hill allows visitors a quiet escape in downtown Pagosa. Reservoir Hill is abundant with wildlife, including mule deer, black bear, tassel eared squirrels, owls, and a variety of birds. See if you can find the various wildlife wood carvings on the hill, including the owls on Tecolote loop. Reservoir Hill is home to the endangered Pagosa Skyrocket wildflower, which blooms roughly mid-May to early June on the Skyrocket Trail. AMENITIES • Scenic Overlook
