NORTH TYNESIDE 2022 Festival

Welcome to the North Tyneside Winter Festival.
From early November through to January, there will be firework displays, Christmas Markets, pantomimes, opportunities to meet Santa and so much more.
There really is so much to see and do. Whatever you choose I hope you have a wonderful time with friends and family.

Join Santa and his helpers for a winter experience. Meet the Chief Elf and enjoy an interactive show where guests will be put through their paces to see if they can be part of Santa’s crew, before embarking on a magical heritage train journey. This year will see over 70 traders along Howard Street offering a wide variety of goods including gifts, homeware, crafts and artisan produce. There will also be entertainment, live music and fairground rides for children. A pop-up food and drink village can be found in the newly landscaped Northumberland Square –there will be lots of seating as well as mulled wine and a wide selection of tasty street food.

Explore life as the Romans would have seen it at twilight, by the light of candles and lamps. This modern interpretation of the importance of light and colour in the Roman world is an opportunity to see the Roman Gallery and finds in a new and very different light.
