TYNEMOUTH STATION Tynemouth Station will once again host a packed programme of FREE events on weekdays this summer. There are activities for under 5’s and their parents with sessions between 10am – 10.45am and 11.15am – 12pm. No pre-booking is required but places are limited and given on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive early to avoid disappointment. In the afternoon, there will be a varied programme of live trad and lounge jazz performances between 1pm – 4pm. Seating is provided and refreshments are available from businesses at the Station so come along, sit back for a few hours and enjoy the music. 25 July

Piccolo Music Lively pre-school music sessions for babies, toddlers and siblings. Singing, clapping, stamping, percussion instruments and puppets. Giggly, tickly fun and award-winning songs.

WALLSEND FESTIVAL 2 July Wallsend Town Centre 3 July The Green and park Saturday sees the town centre packed with a funfair, classic cars, live music, stalls and much more. On the Sunday, Wallsend Parks and Wallsend Hall team up again to deliver â€˜Go Wildâ€™. The 3SIXTY Bicycle Stunt Team is returning with a cycle themed celebration. There will be free activities and workshops with Sustrans and Wallsend Hall will host a funfair on the green with live music, crafts and entertainment.
