Yes, this is our new tagline for Destination: Muncie, but we believe it’s so much more than that. For locals, it’s our collective passion and pride beckoning you to come to our backyard and experience our hospitality and spectacular hometown highlights.
Our vibrant community offers a spectrum of world-class arts, culture and sports opportunities consistent with being home to 20,000 Ball State University students, as well as a historic downtown with one-of-a-kind locally owned restaurants and shops.
And all of this is enhanced by the White River which flows through our county, and is accented by an extensive array of trails and expansive greenways. The itinerary for outdoor enthusiasts also includes our 750-acre Prairie Creek Reservoir, a picturesque spot for boating, fishing, camping, hiking and biking.
