Acknowledgement of Country

City of Moreton Bay acknowledges the Jinibara, Kabi Kabi, and Turrbal peoples as the traditional custodians of Moreton Bay. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present. We recognise that Moreton Bay is a place of cultural, spiritual, social and economic significance to Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander peoples. A connection that is enduring.

I am proud to welcome you to the 2024 Moreton Bay Business and Innovation Awards!

Now in its seventh year, this has become one of my favourite events of the year for the chance to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of Moreton Bay’s business leadership.

Tonight, we will celebrate 15 winners, 70 finalists, and 172 nominees who represent a remarkable and deserving selection of the 31,000 Moreton Bay businesses. Tonight, these businesses and individuals will be rewarded for commitment and excellence in important fields like accessibility, inclusivity, corporate social responsibility, customer service, sustainability, innovation, and excellence in key sectors of our economy.

This awards gala also offers us the chance to take stock of the success, growth, and aspirations of business and industry in Moreton

Bay which I am proud to say is the envy of many Australian cities.

Whether you’re attending this event as a finalist or in support of a local business you can all consider yourselves winners for being here as an engaged part of a business community which is recognised for its leadership in collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Congratulations to the winners, finalists, nominees and #TeamMoretonBay.

Welcome to the 2024

The Moreton Bay Business & Innovation Awards celebrate and acknowledge the achievements, resilience, and innovation in the City of Moreton Bay business community.

On the move

Whether you’re a tradie with a tray full of tools, or a salesperson racking up the Ks, a good car or truck is more than just a means of getting from A to B. A reliable vehicle – or fleet of vehicles – is essential for meeting clients and delivering promised services, on time and in a professional manner. In short, prioritising quality vehicles can be essential to, and a signal of, a successful business. Mitsubishi Motors Business Advantage (MMBA) is the small business fleet solution to keep your business moving (eligibility criteria applies).

KEEP YOUR CASH

leaving your emergency funds for emergencies – or for investing in other areas of your business.

Not only that, MMBA gives you access to National Fleet Pricing – whether you’re a one-man band or running a carpark full of vehicles.

DELEGATE THE PAPERWORK

UPGRADE YOUR VEHICLE

One of the benefits of MMBA’s flexible leasing terms is being able to upgrade your vehicle after each term period. Choose the length of your contract, from 24 to 60 months, then at the end of that period, decide whether to extend the contract on your loyal steed or thank it for its service and move on to a new model that better serves your business.

Motors Business Advantage program,

MMBA helps you access the vehicles and also manage them, with the option to outsource some or all of your fleet admin*. You pay one single monthly invoice, which can then cover most running costs including registration and CTP renewals, services and maintenance, roadside assistance, replacement tyres, and even fuel costs and tolls. For a busy small business owner, it’s a useful way to strike a tonne of admin off your to-do list, depending on the options you select, leaving you to concentrate on the parts of your business that make you money.

mitsubishi-motors.com.au/mmba

A new car normally means your bank balance taking a big hit. As an alternative to an outright purchase, MMBA means no cash payment upfront and spreads the financial load across monthly payments, For more information on the
