Whatever you’re in the mood to do during your summer adventures, you can find it all on the Lancashire coast! Celebrate the Year of The Coast with all things seaside, eat ice cream, find the perfect promenade walks or enjoy some of Lancashire’s fantastic coastal attractions.

Mythic Coast Trail, Cleveleys

The Mythic Coast Artwork Trail has been loved by many since its installation in 2012, providing a talking point for many visitors.

Last year the trail was supported by a new AR app that brings the story of each sculpture to life, the perfect way to get any 21st century screen lover to enjoy the great outdoors.

Sandcastle Water Park, Blackpool

Take a break from paddling in the sea and take to the waves in the UK’s largest indoor waterpark. With 18 fantastic slides and attractions and first-class accessibility options the park is the perfect place for all the family to enjoy.

Happy Mount Park, Morecambe

Whether you are looking for soft play, mini golf, trampolines, a splash park or play areas, Happy Mount Park is the perfect place for families to enjoy the great outdoors. The park also has a café, basketball courts, plenty of walking options and swing boats.

St Annes has so much to offer with its historic pier providing the perfect amusement arcade, restaurant and ice cream shops, not to mention the promenade and sand dunes for exploring, paddling pool and splash park for cooling down during those warmer days.

Lancashire knows how to do great shows, and this summer you can catch a number of them at it’s theatres throughout the county. Try The Opera House.
