Our fantastic, small but perfectly formed Museum is situated at the Train Station! Walk around to the front of the Station building and you will see the entrance. Open Thursdays 10am-12.30pm and Friday & Saturday 10am-4pm. Full of fascinating information about the history of Halesworth and the surrounding area. Find out about our ancient hoards, the de Argentein family, read the Lincolne letters and much more.

Our picturesque pedestrianised Thoroughfare, leading to the Market Place is a few minutes walk from the train station (see map overleaf) and here you will find independent shops, a supermarket, chemist, cafes, bakeries, pubs, boutiques - perfect for festival fashion, even a shoe shop incase you’ve forgotten your wellies! Enjoy the peace and open space of our town park next to the River, leading to Millennium Green, soak up the history of our historic town, visit our art gallery and more.
