Is-sajf huwa staġun li ħafna minna l-Għawdxin inkunu qed nistennew għaliex fost l-oħrajn huwa żmien fejn ikollna aktar ċans niċċelebraw u ningħaqdu flimkien.

Bħala Ministru għal Għawdex u l-Ippjanar, huwa pjaċir tiegħi li nilqagħkom għal edizzjoni oħra b’bosta attivitajiet li se jittellgħu dan is-sajf f’Għawdex. Dan il-programm annwali ta’ avvenimenti huwa maħsub biex juri l-aħjar li għandu Għawdex matul l-istaġun tas-sajf.

Il-kalendarju tas-sajf f’Għawdex huwa kullana sħiħa ta’ esperjenzi li jirriflettu l-wirt tagħna, it-talenti artistiċi u s-sens qawwi ta’ komunità.

Mill-festa tradizzjonali, li waħedha hija ċelebrazzjoni kulturali, sa kunċerti fuq barra, festival tal-ikel, esibizzjonijiet kulturali u attivitajiet għall-familja kollha, il-programm ta’ din is-sena jinkludi xi ħaġa ta’ interess għal kulħadd. Dawn l-avvenimenti mhux biss jagħtu gost lir-residenti u lill-viżitaturi, iżda wkoll iservu ta’ appoġġ għan-nies tallokal, bħal mużiċisti, artiġjani u negozji, u jiżguraw li l-ħajja kulturali ta’ Għawdex tibqa’ kemm dinamika kif ukoll inklussiva.

Il-Ministeru jibqa’ impenjat li jsaħħaħ l-identità ta’ Għawdex bħala destinazzjoni li tgħaqqad id-divertiment mal-awtentiċità. Bħal dejjem l-għan tagħna huwa li nipprovdu avvenimenti ta’ kwalità għolja li jirrispettaw l-ambjent, jappoġġjaw l-ekonomija tagħna u jsaħħu r-rabtiet tal-komunità.

Nistiednu lil kull min se jżur Għawdex sabiex jingħaqad magħna ħalli niċċelebraw dan is-sajf flimkien.

F’isem il-Ministeru għal Għawdex u l-Ippjanar, inwegħedkom sajf memorabbli fil-gżira Għawdxija.

Clint Camilleri
