This 10-day event includes dinghy class races, kiteboarding, wing foiling and remotecontrol boat events. Winning or losing, you’ll have a great time on or off the boat at Barbados Sailing Week.

The Holetown Festival takes place in Holetown, Barbados, and celebrates the arrival of the first settlers in Holetown on February 17, 1627.
The week-long celebration occurs every year during mid-February and includes a number of activities which showcase the culture and traditions of Barbados. Events include folk singing and dancing, sports and games, street parades, markets, and food stalls that offer traditional Barbadian cuisine.
This annual Bridge Festival is a mix of friendly competition and keen rivalry that attracts players from all over the world, who come together to play bridge against the alluring backdrop of Barbados.
This is Barbados Agricultural Society’s annual Exhibition. Farmers, craft persons and processors of agricultural products are among the many exhibitors each year. Last year there were approximately 60,000 visitors over the three day show and over 250 exhibits running daily.
The National Agricultural Exhibition of Barbados promises to be one exciting weekend of fantastic products on sale and on display, keenly contested competitions between farmers, entertainment, demonstrations and so much more! The Sandy Lane Gold Cup is one of the most prestigious events in the Eastern Caribbean horse racing calendar and, indeed, the biggest sporting events on the island.
Attracting visitors from all over the world, for many years both local and regional jockeys have competed here, including some top international jockeys and trainers, with thoroughbred horses from the UK and North Americasome owned by the world’s leading investors in thoroughbred racing - featured.

This year the Barbados Orchid Society celebrates its 83rd Anniversary. The group then called The Barbados Orchid Circle, formed in 1939, after realizing the popularity of their exhibits at the Barbados Agricultural and Industrial Exhibition and other flower exhibitions of the day. Still blossoming, the Society continues to stage biennial shows at various locations across the island, as well as exhibit at various overseas shows. In celebration of the 83rd Anniversary, the Barbados Orchid Society will showcase an 83rd Anniversary Orchid Show in March.

The World Surf League (WSL) qualifying world tour is a combination of events which takes place at various locations worldwide. Barbados is one of the designated stops on the circuit and comfortably holds its own as the host of one of the largest international surfing events in the Caribbean.
Previously, this event allowed local and foreign athletes to compete in a World Surf League 3000-point qualification series (QS3000) for the North American region but now, Barbados will host a QS5000.

Vujaday is a 5-day destination music festival that takes place in a variety of unique locations around the island of Barbados. Vujaday Music Festival invites you to explore lush landscapes, dance on flawless palm-covered beaches and soak in translucent azure waters under a golden island sun. The Oistins Festival is an annual event that takes place every Easter weekend in the scenic fishing village of Oistins Barbados in the parish of Christ Church, on the south coast of the island.

The Barbados Celtic Festival has enjoyed a great variety of performers from around the World taking part in many different events over a four-day period. This festival celebrates the relationship between Barbados and the Scottish and Irish cultures through a fusion of food and music. Sol Rally Barbados 2023 will run from June 3-4, with The Rally Show and Flow King of the Hill the previous weekend (May 27-28).
The event has evolved from small beginnings as the International All-Stage Rally of 1990 into the Caribbean’s biggest annual motor sport International and a key National Event on the island’s sportstourism calendar.

This Masters Football Classic Tournament will take place from 26th to 29th May, 2023. It is one of the biggest Masters football tournaments in the Caribbean and will again be played in Barbados. Sol Rally Barbados (Sol RB) is known as the most dynamic three days of rally driving in Barbados and attracts drivers from all over the world. They go head to head with the local talent in challenging public road and off-road courses.
The event has evolved from small beginnings as the International All-Stage Rally of 1990 into the Caribbean’s biggest annual motor sport International and a key National Event on the island’s sports-tourism calendar.
Sol Rally Barbados is a tarmac rally, with around 24 special stages run on the island’s intricate network of public roads, under road closure orders granted by the Ministry of Transport & Works; the previous Sunday’s Flow King of the Hill ‘shakedown’, run under a similar arrangement, features four timed runs on a roughly four-kilometre stage, the results of which are used to seed the running order for the main event.
Golfers from several corporate entities along with bank officials and some members of the Barbados Golf Club will come together to play golf for the worthy cause.

This summer Barbados invites travelers to live like a local and experience the island’s lively Crop Over Festival, celebrating a 200 year-old tradition that honors the end of the sugar cane season.
The festival celebrates all that is Bajan with dusk till dawn parties, arts and crafts markets and a culinary-driven street fairs. Grand Kadooment Day celebrates the end of Crop Over, where Masquerade Bands make their way to Spring Garden highway with revelers dressed in sequin costumes decorated with colorful feathers, jewels and bright accents.

Named after the Barbadian cricketer and National Hero Sir Garry Sobers, this annual tournament attracts school teams under nineteen years of age to compete with their local, regional and international counterparts. The tournament is based on 40-over matches.
Since the year 1986 the Sir Garfield Sobers International Schools Cricket Tournament has given school boys the rare opportunity of playing in an international tournament. To date this tournament has groomed the likes of retired West Indies captain, Brian Lara, Darren Ganga, Roland Holder, and several English and South African test match players.

Independence Day in Barbados is celebrated in November with a series of events and activities. On Independence Day itself, an impressive parade is held at the Garrison Savannah racecourse, which was the site of that first independence ceremony in 1966.
In Barbados, we understand that health and wellness is the key to living a long and joyful life. This year we would like to invite all people from around the world and in the local Caribbean countries to come and immerse themselves for 3 days in mindfulness, self-love and compassion in beautiful Barbados. The friendly local culture, the sheer beauty of the island and the marathon course that is both scenic and historic. The start and finish of the “out and back” mostly flat route is at the picturesque & rustic East coast of Barbados. Runners will enjoy the cool ocean breezes and the natural beauty of the East coast. Combine these sights with the sounds of steel pan, the local “tuk bands” and the highly appreciative local spectators and you have yourself an unforgettable memory.
