ManCity Social Media Competition Terms & Conditions 1. The ManCity SM competition is hosted on VisitAbuDhabi’s Instagram page only.

Competition Mechanism All participants must comment on IG VAD post “Competition Alert” with a creative and fun reason they can come up with to skip work and go travel.

2. Each participant is allowed to submit ONE reason only.

All competitors must use tag a friend who they want to travel with to Abu Dhabi with and follow the @VisitAbuDhabi Instagram page.

3. The duration of this competition is 1 week starting from the day that the announcement post is posted on DCT Instagram page.

4. The closing date of the competition is as specified, and DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to amend the competition’s terms and conditions including the end date at any time.  This competition runs as follows: the starting date is 11.05.2022, and the closing date is 18.05.2022.  The competition will pick 1 winner in total  1 winner will be announced on @visitabudhabi Instagram Stories and the competition post (upon winner’s confirmation that he/she will be able to avail the prize).

5. By entering this competition, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and that you agree to them.

6. Upon entering this competition, contestants acknowledge and confirm that they are individuals, and not companies or businesses or professional entities.

7. Incomplete personal information, information submitted late, or information that does not comply with the rules set out by DCT Abu Dhabi shall be deemed unacceptable for the purpose of this competition, and any information provided by participants and all information entered is considered to be the property of DCT Abu Dhabi and may not be returned. Participants waive any right to claim otherwise and DCT Abu Dhabi may utilise this data for the purpose of its official work.

8. DCT Abu Dhabi shall not bear liability for any damage, loss, injury, and so on incurred by a participant that participated in this competition, or for any event that occurs as a result of their not accepting the prize. Further, DCT Abu Dhabi will not bear liability for any problems or technical breakdowns incurred by any computer, system, server, service provider, software, hardware, or for any email failure or interference that happens to their account, or any internet issues or failures, or for anything that is encountered on any website, including any injury that occurs or represents a result of participation in the competition or downloading competition materials.

9. All insurance and PCR needs are to be arranged by the competition winner and DCT Abu Dhabi accepts no liability for damage, injury, delays, or any incidents arriving from force majeure and/or Act of God.

10. The competition winner will be selected by DCT Abu Dhabi, and at DCT Abu Dhabi’s sole discretion. The decision of the judges is considered final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Participants waive any right to appeal or criticise the decision of the judges.  The competition is open to anyone aged 18 years or over except employees of DCT Abu Dhabi and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with DCT Abu Dhabi or judging of the competition.  The winner selection will be done randomly 11. The competition winner will be notified by telephone, direct message and/or e-mail. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 5 days of notification, DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

12. DCT Abu Dhabi will provide selected the 1 winner with a prize consisting of: Return economy Flight to Abu Dhabi for two adults Emirates Palace stay for 5 nights for two adults



  



The following terms and conditions apply to the prize: There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary to enter this competition. The prize is only valid and can only be redeemed with prior reservation and is subject to availability.

The bookings may be subject to blackout dates which may be amended by the airline at any time.

No travel date changes are allowed on the flight tickets.

The prize is not transferable.

The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

Winner is allowed to bring a companion of their choice.

Etihad T & C a. The prize flights are to be booked by 31 December 2022. b. Etihad to pay departure taxes/surcharges. c. If the prize is not claimed within the specified time limit the prize will be forfeited. d. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or cash equivalents are permitted. e. Prizes must not be sold or auctioned. f.

The prize package comprises: two (2) economy class return flights to Abu Dhabi, departing from any airport on an Etihad operated route. To explore Etihad flight options, please visit www.etihad.com. Chauffeur transfers are not included.

g. Travel dates may be subject to blackout periods and other restrictions.

Date changes are not permitted after booking is made.

k. Tickets cannot be upgraded and EY Guest miles will not be accrued. l.

The prize does not include travel between winner’s home and airport, travel insurance, transfers, food and drink, personal expenditure or incidental costs. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure they have a valid passport, travel insurance and obtain any necessary visas for their trip.

m. Upon receiving the flight ticket, it is the prize winner's responsibility to make sure all information is correct before travel. n. Winners and their visitors must be fully vaccinated and share a proof of vaccination when contacted.

14. Participants must follow all steps mentioned in the competition post to be eligible to win.

15. By entering the competition, the winner and other participants agree to participate in this promotional activity and willing to offer the produced material as DCT Abu Dhabi may require.

16. DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. DCT Abu Dhabi may also create rules which will apply to this specific competition only. Amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules will be published on the relevant competition page.

17. DCT Abu Dhabi will endeavour to arrange prize claims within a fortnight after the competition end date but cannot guarantee this delivery time.

18. DCT Abu Dhabi is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any participants by any third party connected with this competition.

19. DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to cancel this competition or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of force majeure and/or Act of God or any actual breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of DCT Abu Dhabi’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to participants as soon as possible by DCT Abu Dhabi.

20. Should any automated entries be identified, DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to disqualify and/ or block users from the competition.

21. This competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by United Arab Emirates laws and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi.
