JUBAIL MANGROVE PARK This jewel in Abu Dhabi’s crown is home to meandering boardwalks that allow you to wander through the mangroves, discovering a nature-rich side to Abu Dhabi and spotting an array of wildlife, from turtles to herons, gazelle and more. Birdwatchers, nature-lovers and photographers will be in their element in this park. Approx. 1 hour
4. YAS ISLAND ATTRACTIONS The island features Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi’s largest luxury retail outlet, and Yas Marina Circuit, one of the world’s most renowned racetracks, which offers loads of activities for all the family. It is a popular leisure island and one of the top tourism projects in Abu Dhabi. It also features Yas Waterworld (a fun-filled waterpark), Ferrari World Abu Dhabi (Ferrarifocussed theme park), CLYMB (featuring an indoor climbing wall and indoor sky diving) and Warner Bros. SHEIKH ZAYED HERITAGE FESTIVAL Dates: from 18th November 2021 to April 1st, 2022. Named in honour of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival celebrates the United Arab Emirates’ cultural inheritance, showcases the rich diversity of its traditions and enlightens visitors about the legacy of the nation’s founder. The festival visitors can experience Emirati heritage and culture through its arts, crafts, foods and customs. BAIT MOHAMMED BIN KHALIFA HOUSE Located within the World Heritage Site of Al Ain, the former home of the late Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan is an important structure in Abu Dhabi’s recent history, offering valuable insights into the changing social, historical and architectural traditions of the nation during the 1950s and 60s. The House has been recently transformed into a community centre and includes a permanent exhibition, an art learning centre and a café. Approx. 1 hour
2. SHEIKH ZAYED DESERT LEARNING CENTRE The Centre is a fantastic place to learn more about the UAE’s natural environment.
