This year’s Pan-American Research Day (PARD) is not to be missed. This exciting event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 12:00 – 6:30 pm at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel, Seattle, Washington. This event is sponsored through a generous grant from Allergan. Over 90 speakers were chosen to present their ARVO accepted abstracts at this year’s meeting. There will be two keynote lectures: André Romado, MD (Brazil) – Clinical State of the Art Optical Coherence Tomography – And Future Directions Miguel N. Burnier Jr. MD, MSc, PhD., FRCSC (Canada) – Patient care, Teaching & Research: A United Team at the MUHC – McGill University Eye Pathology Laboratory A total of four travel awards sponsored by industry leaders and private foundations will be awarded this year. Afterwards, speakers and attendees can relax and discuss the business of the day at the reception which is immediately to follow.
