This edition serves to highlight amazing women throughout the State of Ohio and their contributions to the Buckeye State we love. Were you born in Ohio, or did you choose to relocate here? My name is Shaniece M. Wise I am a Business Expansion Coach & Strategist, CEO of Wise, Armstrong and Associates which is a business coaching and consulting firm. Founder of the Unstoppable Community of Business Owners and yes, I am born and raised in Ohio. 2. What do you love most about the Buckeye State? A favorite restaurant, attraction, or store? I am an Alumni of The Ohio State University where I earned two business degrees, one in Marketing and the other in Transportation and Logistics. I absolutely love being a OSU Buckeye.. O-H-I-O. Ohio is a very family-oriented state, and my family is very important to me, immediate and extended. Eighty percent of my family was born and raised in Ohio and still live here today. My favorite attraction is Cedar Point because my family enjoys amusement parks. I love shopping, and Columbus has very nice shopping areas, for example Easton Towne Center and Polaris Mall. I absolutely love going out to dinner and my favorite restaurant (amongst many that I love) is The Pearl, because of their New Orleans style oysters. 3. How did you discover your passion for helping individuals and businesses achieve growth in their revenue? Where did that spark of passion truly ignite from? I have always had the heart of an entrepreneur. At the age of twelve I had a lemonade stand in the front of my home. Growing up, I was always teaching, educating, and selling something. My my nickname was “Boss Lady”. Early in my twenties, I became a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant and began selling makeup and teaching others how to build their own Mary Kay Business. I moved up the career path very fast and became a Sales Director at the age of twenty-four, driving a Pink Cadillac and being one of the youngest black Sales Directors in Columbus Ohio at that time. I traveled all over the United States teaching women how to build businesses. I was featured i Mary Kay’s national publications, earned national awards, driving seven Mary Kay Career Cars, four being Pink Cadillacs. In one year, my unit sold over $500,000 in retail sales. For fourteen years, I built an amazing career in Mary Kay Cosmetics, met some amazing people, and had a lot of fun. Then in 2008 I started my Business Coaching Firm, Wise, Armstrong and Associates, LLC, where I help entrepreneurs build beyond six and seven figures. I teach business owners how to grow their visibility, increase their profitability and improve systems and strategies while they step into the role of CEO. I am the author of Activating Your Gifts and Activating Your Gifts – 2nd Edition - 15 Steps To Identifying Your Gifts To Prepare For Entrepreneurship and I speak all over the country about business growth and development.
