Speaking of Virtual... In 2020 we launched our first Virtual Basecamps - successfully bringing our complete in-person master planning process fully online for clients across the country. This new format will supplement our already existing Basecamp services that have helped hundreds of churches, non-profits, and other organizations launch their visions. But we stayed busy... Starting the year with our largest design backlog in company history, we’ll hit 2021 back to pre-pandemic levels. Amid the pandemic, all three branches of Visioneering were open and serving our clients while branching into serving new sectors. We also were honored to have The Poverty Encounter by Children’s Hunger Fund receive a THEA Award from the Themed Entertainment Association for Outstanding Achievement. WILKINSON BUILDING - CHAPMAN, CA
Completing the History Dome Theater at the Legacy International Center - a six-year project coordinating design, video production, and construction on an international scale. We also completed the remodel of the 116-year-old Wilkinson Building on Chapman University’s campus during the lockdown. And we’re incredibly proud of being able to hand over the keys to Whittier Area Community Church’s new worship center and kids’ spaces - completing a project that will impact their community for generations to come.

We’re ready to go in 2021... With our schedule of design projects filling up quickly - 2021 is looking to be an excellent year for helping others launch their visions. And even as we start this year online or socially distanced, we’ll be looking to connect with more churches, nonprofits, and other organizations than any year past. We can’t wait to have you join us for a live design workshop, webinar, conference (hopefully in-person), or any number of other events we’ll be a part of in the new year. Whittier Area Community Church Whittier, CA Square Feet: 27,000 Seats: 1,500 Services: Design+Build Whittier Area Community Church has called Whittier it’s home for over 50 years. Having launched in a middle school gym and slowly building their facility up through the years they were in need of a new start. Visioneering Studios partnered with Whittier Area Community Church to build a new worship sanctuary and chapel, update their kids’ spaces, and remodel their office spaces. The new modern sanctuary replaces a building that was originally built in the 1970’s. This renewed commitment to their community will serve as a hub for families to grow, celebrate life’s important moments and reach generations to come.

Wilkinson Hall - Chapman University Orange, CA Square Feet: 10,000 Services: Construction Wilkinson Hall was constructed in 1905 on the campus of Orange Union High School and then moved to its current location in 1921. Since 1954, the building has been home to classes, administrative offices, and college departments. With its long history it is registered on the National Registry for Historical Buildings. With its age and historical significance modernizing the building and building a handicap accessible lower level was a challenge that was at times met with workers digging by hand under the building to install an access hallway and elevator. Today, the building will serve generations to come with its renewed classrooms, offices, and meeting spaces.

History Dome Theater - Legacy International Center San Diego, CA Square Feet: 5,100 Seats: 100 4-D Motion Seats Services: Design+Build, Creative Direction, Technology Integration The centerpiece experience of the newly opened Legacy International Center is the unique 100-seat, 4-D motion History Dome Theater designed to transport visitors to the ancient Holy Land of Jerusalem. The theater is equipped with stateof-the-art motion sensory seats (used for the ďŹ rst time in North America) and a seamless 360-degree immersive screen to fully capture the audience’s attention.

North Central Church Student Center Spring, TX Square Feet: 8,700 Services: Architecture The Student Center building at North Central Church in Spring, TX is a modern space to build community and help youth connect with the church in a space of their own. The space features a multi-purpose room with seating for hundreds that can be transformed for any use. In the lobby there are roll up doors to open the space to the outside on warm summer nights. Along with the cafe space, this student building will be a great space for students for years to come.
