EEA Family Permit

People who are in civil partnership or are married to an EU citizen can apply for EEA Family Permit.

Children who are less than 18 years of age are eligible on such applications. If you are not staying in UK, it is mandatory that you apply for entry clearance through the British authorities before travelling to UK.

Citizen must exercise their treaty right that is employment, study, self sufficient etc in UK. Couple must be married legally They must have enough expenses to stay in UK. Must intent to live together Must know each other

Conditions for EEA family permit: The permit for EEA family is usually permitted for 5 years and also allows the unrestricted employees employment in UK for the duration.

EEA Permanent Resident:

Person who has competed 5 years of residence in UK can apply for EEA Permanent Residency. You’re

eligible if both of the conditions apply: •

You have lived with EEA family person in UK for 5 year continuous period.

The EEA family member has permanent right of residence and is a qualified person throughout 5 years.

You can also get permanent residence before 5 years in case of following situations: •

You were sharing your lifestyle with EEA national family member who was self-employed or working in the UK, just before the death

The EEA national family member who was earlier working but stopped working duet to permanent incapacity or retirement or self employment. Another reason can be if your EEA family member is now working in some other EEA state but still own a house in UK and return to UK at least in a week.
