Key Benefits of AMNIOEFFECT
• Lyophilized human amnion, intermediate layer, and chorion membrane allograft
• Semi-permeable barrier that supports the healing cascade
• Provides a biocompatible human extracellular matrix (ECM) and retains 300+ regulatory proteins

What is AMNIOEFFECT?
AMNIOEFFECT is a lyophilized human placental-based allograft membrane that includes amnion, intermediate layer, and chorion. It acts as a semi-permeable barrier that supports the healing cascade and promotes the development of granulation tissue. This allograft provides a biocompatible human ECM and retains over 300 regulatory proteins to aid in the healing process.

Advantages of AMNIOEFFECT
• Patented PURION processing ensures high-quality preservation
• Terminally sterilized for an added level of safety
• Easy to apply and store at room temperature
• Long shelf life: 5 years
• Compatible with Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

Clinical Use Examples
• Allograft affixed with sutures
• Deeper surgical sites
• Small to large surface areas
• Coverage for soft tissue, tendon, bone, or hardware
• Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) procedures
• Tunneling wounds
• Other potential applications

Patented PURION Processing
The PURION process optimizes the retention of the intermediate layer (IL). By separating the amnion and chorion with the attached IL, thorough cleansing is achieved before laminating the layers into the final tri-layer configuration.

AMNIOEFFECT: Histology Post-Processing
Biocompatible Human ECM Components:
•Structural components: Collagen I, III, IV; elastin
•Cell-binding domains: Fibronectin, collagen V, VII; hyaluronic acid
•ECM binding domains: Proteoglycans, laminin
•Regulatory proteins: Over 300+ key proteins retained
Application Instructions

•Cutting: In its dry state, the allograft may be cut to size with sharp scissors.
•Placement: Position the allograft on the site, ensuring proper orientation:
-Large pattern surface faces the application site.
-Small pattern surface faces up.
•Hydration: Apply sterile saline to hydrate the allograft on-site. The pattern will begin to fade upon hydration.
•Fixation: Suture material (absorbable or non-absorbable) and/or

tissue adhesives may be used to secure the allograft.
• Note: AMNIOEFFECT is not intended for load-bearing applications.
Refer to Instructions for Use for complete guidelines.
A 4 cm x 6 cm folded allograft can be advanced through an 8 mm trocar for Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) procedures. Suggested MIS Technique
