The Prospective Marriage Visa 300 is a temporary visa for an applicant who is engaged and desires to marry a citizen of Australia, an eligible citizen of New Zealand or a permanent resident of Australia

This visa is valid for nine months. So, to stay in Australia after that speci몭c time duration, you have to apply for the Subclass 801 and 820 Subclass visa during the period of stay The applicant has to marry to their 몭ancé during this period of time

When applying, the applicant should not be present in Australia. However, the marriage can happen either inside or outside of Australia

Eligibility Criteria for Visa Applicants

The applicant needs to ful몭ll the following visa requirements at the time of lodging the application:

You must be 18 years old or more

You must be going to marry an Australian citizen or PR Visa Holder, or an eligible New Zealand citizen.

You must be sponsored by your future spouse (note that certain persons are prohibited from being approved as a sponsor)

Your partner must be aged 18 or older

You must have met your partner in person (after you both turned 18) and be known to each other personally
