CONCEPT
Meticulous drawings and sculpts are developed for months until a mold can be made.

SAND CASTING
A mold is used to leave an impression in sand that mirrors the shape of the desired metal object. To ensure precision, the mold may consist of multiple parts that fit together.

POURING
Molten metal is poured into the mold through channels and allowed to solidify. After the metal has cooled and solidified, the sand mold is broken away, revealing the newly formed metal casting.
4
FINISHING
The casting receives additional processes such as smoothing, hand joining, and finishing to achieve the final desired appearance. A hand-applied finish reveals beauty in every detail and creates a rich patina.
