The Vipp Open-Air collection owes its name to the functional intent of outdoor use, while equally referencing the airiness and fluidity that underpin the design ethos – light, organic expressions of solid materials.
Immediately identifiable shapes and details recognized from Vipp’s indoor furniture are echoed in the outdoor collection, consisting of a two-sized dining table, a café table, a dining chair, a duo of sofas, coffee tables, a lounge chair, and an outdoor tray table.
The Open-Air series follows a design language attuned to the Vipp brand’s heritage and predilection for moulded metal but with novel material additions like polyrattan, teak, and curated outdoor textiles.

VIPP740-742 OPEN-AIR KITCHEN
The Open-Air kitchen comprises three freestanding units, each with a tabletop and frame made from powder-coated aluminium. The units feature welded and polished joints and are fitted with an integrated full-width shelf in raw teak with rounded edges, providing easy storage.
Equipped with a built-in stainless steel sink and the Vipp tap with signature knob, the kitchen offers full outdoor functionality. Additionally fitted with adjustable feet allow the kitchen to be levelled on uneven surfaces.
The Open-Air chair is modelled after the very first Vipp chair. A grey-coated aluminium frame with rounded edges features polyrattan-covered arm rests and a padded backrest.
Like its original counterpart, the outdoor version carries the same airy expression of spindly legs and armrests divided by a comfortable cushion in waterproof and UV-resistant textile.

The Open-Air tables are one table available in two sizes to suit different outdoor spaces. Both tables feature an aluminium frame supporting a 12 mm ceramic tabletop and conical teak wood legs.
The Vipp718 measures 1.57 meters in length, while the larger Vipp719 spans 2.5 meters. The tables are equipped with small adjustable feet, allowing them to be levelled on uneven surfaces.

The name Lagrasse derives from a Vipp guesthouse project that opened in Spring 2025. Set in the medieval French village of Lagrasse, where narrow winding streets, ancient stone walls, and intimate outdoor corners define the surroundings, the project inspired an outdoor collection made for smaller, lived-in spaces.
Intended for smaller spaces or as versatile garden nomads, the Lagrasse collection offers sociable seating settings regardless of size. The collection includes a dining chair, a lounge chair, a two-seater, a coffee table, a side table, and dining tables in two sizes, all crafted with a powder-coated aluminium frame.
A curved backrest extends to form the armrests on all seating products, wrapped in woven cord to enhance the collection’s light expression. The tables feature solid aluminium tops with grooves, echoing the cord pattern in the chairs while providing practical water drainage.
Designed for versatility in compact outdoor spaces, the Lagrasse chair features a lightweight yet sturdy powder-coated aluminium frame. A distinctive woven cord detail wraps around the curved backrest and armrests, adding both texture and refined elegance.
The chair’s stackable design allows for easy storage, accommodating up to four chairs. For enhanced comfort, an optional cushion in durable outdoor textile is available.

TEAK
Natural teak wood provides a warm contrast to the Open-Air collection. Over time, the teak will weather to a more silver/grey patina as it reacts to outdoor conditions. Teak wood is well suited for outdoor use due to its natural antimicrobial properties, helping to resist mildew and mould.
As wood is a natural material that expands and contracts in response to heat and humidity, small cracks may develop as part of the natural weathering process. All teak wood used in Vipp products is crafted by hand and will have some variance in its expression.
Heat-pressed ceramics generates a raw and natural expression. Despite the delicate appearance of the stoneware, the 12 millimeter tabletop is highly durable, resistant to liquids and hard objects.
The weaving cord in the Lagrasse collection is designed for all outdoor conditions. It is woven around a strong nylon core to ensure product longevity. The woven cord offers a comfortable, supportive seat while seamlessly blending style and function.
Polyrattan is a durable, synthetic material commonly used for outdoor products. It withstands the elements, resists wear and tear, and maintains its look over time without patinating. Designed for longevity, it offers the natural appeal of rattan with the strength of modern materials.
The Dune textile is a durable fabric designed to withstand the elements, featuring water and UV-resistance. Woven in a vibrant sand colour, it features a textured surface that adds character and sophistication. Designed for durability, Dune is ideal for outdoor settings, offering resilience against the elements while maintaining a soft, natural look.

MEADOW TEXTILE
The Meadow textile is made from special outdoor materials to ensure a long lifetime, making the products look proper season after season. Woven in a rich sand hue, it boasts a textured surface that enhances the textile’s character.
A specially developed system of straps is fitted under the seat cushions to create the nice comfort of the Open-Air sofa. This system is designed to make the straps visible and echo the rhythmic pattern of the back and armrest.

FRAME
The frames of the outdoor collections are primarily made from powder-coated aluminium. The table legs in the Lagrasse collection are an exception, as they are also crafted from galvanised steel. The frames are made to withstand outdoor conditions, helping to prevent rust and discolouration over time.
The powder-coated finish resists scratching and peeling, adding an extra layer of protection against the elements, making the furniture looking fresh season after season.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
The Vipp Open-Air and Lagrasse outdoor collections are crafted from materials renowned for their durability when properly maintained. By following the care instructions, you can preserve the lasting appeal and appearance of these collections for years to come.
UPHOLSTERY
If cleaning is required, we recommend using a vacuum cleaner to remove any debris from the textile. Avoid hard floor brushes when vacuuming. Keep sharp objects away, and push loose threads back with a blunt object instead of cutting.
Clean regularly with lukewarm water (max 40°C) and mild cleaning agent on a terry cloth, testing on a hidden spot first. In certain situations, if the upholstery has not been well cared for and protected, algae and other foreign organic matter can develop on the surface as it is the case with any furniture left outdoors. We recommend covering the product with a Vipp designated outdoor cover when the product is not in use.
While the fabric itself does not promote the growth of algae and mildew, it can easily develop if organic materials such as food or plant matter are left on the fabric surface for an extended period of time. In very severe cases professional cleaning is recommended. We recommend testing any professional cleaning detergent on a hidden area before cleaning the entire surface.
When cleaning, it is best to treat the entire piece of furniture to prevent any concentrated spots, water rings, or colour difference. Always thoroughly rinse the fabric and cushions with clean water before using them again and allow them to air dry completely. Cushions are made with a waterproof inner coating of the fabric to keep the cushions dry on the inside.
Note
In case water enters the cushions with zipper and the foam becomes wet, we recommend opening the zipper to allow maximum airflow for a faster drying time.
The foam should not be removed from the upholstery, and only if cushion covers are removable they are machine washable.
OUTDOOR POWDER-COATED SURFACES
Keep powder-coated surfaces clear of debris like bird droppings, mud, and leaves to prevent damage. Clean with warm water and mild detergent using a lint-free cloth or soft brush. Finish by wiping dry with a dry cloth.
TEAK WOOD
Over time, teak develops a patina as it weathers. Brush off dirt following the grain to prevent scratches. Dampen with water and a lint-free cloth. Clean with a regular, designated teak cleaner, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Use a soft cloth or sponge and clean along the grain to avoid scratches. Rinse lightly with water and let dry.

POLYRATTAN
Use a lint-free cleaning cloth or a soft brush with warm water and a mild detergent. Finish by wiping down the surface with a dry cloth.
CERAMIC TABLES
Daily care ensures long-lasting appeal and appearance. Use warm water, mild detergent, and a cloth. If needed, a tile cleaner may be used to clean the entire table surface, following the product instructions carefully.
Lime stains
Clean with mild detergent suitable for painted surfaces and a lint-free cloth. Rinse with water and dry the frame.
Grease stains
Remove using a soft cloth dampened with denatured alcohol or standard glass cleaner.

Be cautious when placing delicate items on the tabletop, as its hard surface may cause damage.
