Meticulous detailing is unveiled in the subtle construction of the chair, demonstrated through the invisible joins that make the chair look as cut in one piece. The Cabin chair is available in light or dark oak with an affixed leather cushion in either sand or black leather.

Architectural piece
The padded seat cushion is wrapped in soft aniline leather while the curved backrest is shaped for optimal back- and seating comfort.
Named after one of Vipp’s architectural projects, the Vipp Cabin, a prefabricated house wrapped in pine laths, the Cabin chair joins a growing range of Vipp furniture designed for branded architectural projects.
Unique expression The char is made of solid oak wood precisely machined and afterwards completely shaped and sanded by hand hence giving it a unique expression – not one chair has the same expression.
Protection Surface is either oiled (light) or lacquered (dark) for protection against everyday wear and tear.

Solid oak wood in either a light oak finish with an oiled surface or dark oak finish in a lacquered finish.
Leather is pure aniline that will patinize over time. Especially chosen to give the chair a vivid and vibrant expression with different impurities in the leather, such a stretch marks, small inspect bites and color variance.

This chair is made of pure aniline leather and solid oak. The aniline leather is a very vibrant leather that might have natural marks on it, which is completely to be expected and accepted. The same is true of the oak wood, which can be expected to vary depending on which tree it comes from. Vipp has a tolerance of these marks that is worked within in relation to the quality assurance of these products.
In order to maintain the soft and supple quality of the leather, it is important to treat the aniline leather with a leather conditioner. It is important to keep leather out of direct sunlight as this can bleach and dry out the leather. Do not use chemical or normal cleaning products on leather, as this might destroy the leather, only aforementioned leather conditioner and cleaning. For daily cleaning, use a vacuum with a soft brush or wipe the leather with a clean, dry cloth. For more information regarding maintenance, please look under vipp.com
