"World War I saw the introduction of new technology like tanks and airplanes," Teacher Susan said, showing pictures of early tanks and planes. "Did these make a big difference?" asked Mia. "Yes, they changed how battles were fought," Teacher Susan explained.
"The war ended in 1918 with the signing of the Armistice," Teacher Susan continued. "This meant the fighting stopped, and peace talks began." "Was everyone happy when it ended?" asked Emma. "Yes, but it also left many people and places affected," Teacher Susan replied.
"After the war, the League of Nations was formed to promote peace," Teacher Susan explained. "Did it help prevent more wars?" asked Noah. "It was a step towards global cooperation, but there were still challenges," Teacher Susan said.
