"Welcome, everyone!" Professor Jones beams as he opens a world of folk tales at the Brite Star Museum. Mia, her eyes sparkling with curiosity, asks, "What are folk tales?" Professor Jones explains, "They are traditional stories passed down through generations, rich with lessons and culture."

"Our first tale is from Africa, about an elephant teaching wisdom to a young hunter," Professor Jones narrates. Jack wonders, "Why do folk tales often have animals?" Professor Jones responds, "Animals represent qualities like wisdom or bravery, making the story more captivating."

"Next, a tale from China where a dragon brings rain to a parched village," continues Professor Jones. Emily inquires, "Do dragons symbolize something special?" "In Chinese culture, dragons are symbols of power and good luck," he explains.

"Here, a Native American story highlights the importance of community and respecting elders," Professor Jones points out. Sofia asks, "Why is listening to elders important?" "Elders carry wisdom and stories that teach us about life and our heritage," he replies.

"An Indian tale shows a clever princess using her wits to outsmart a fox," explains Professor Jones. Noah questions, "How does the princess show intelligence?" "She uses her knowledge and quick thinking to solve problems," Professor Jones elaborates.

"In Scandinavia, a tale of a girl facing a frost giant teaches courage," he says. Mia asks, "What does the girl learn from facing the giant?" "That bravery isn't about being fearless; it's about facing fears for a greater good," Professor Jones answers.

"From

the Middle East, a story of a merchant who trades wisely," Professor Jones narrates. Jack wonders, "Why is the merchant's honesty important?" "It shows that being truthful and fair brings long-term success and respect," advises Professor Jones.

"A Caribbean story features a race between a turtle and a rabbit," Professor Jones smiles. Emily asks, "Why did the turtle win?" "Because slow and steady effort, along with humility, often leads to success," he shares.

"A Russian Baba Yaga tale weaves magic and mystery," he continues. Sofia

queries, "What does facing the unknown mean?" "It's about approaching new challenges with courage and a wise mind," explains Professor Jones.

"An Australian Aboriginal story of the Dreamtime shows creation," he teaches. Noah, curious, asks, "What's Dreamtime?" "It's the sacred era when ancestral spirits created the world," Professor Jones clarifies.

"Now, let's share our own folk tales," encourages Professor Jones. Mia asks, "Can stories bring us together?" "Absolutely! They show us that despite our differences, we share common values and dreams," he smiles.
