"The first copies of their book, Brite Star Ranch: A Safe Place for Animals, were ready. But they still had a long way to go."
Missy said, "We did it! Now we just have to sell enough to save the ranch." Ken looked at the stack, "We need to sell at least 5,000 copies. That’s a lot." Nana smiled, "When you believe in something, anything is possible."

"Even Amy and the girls helped spread the word. Everyone was pitching in."
Brooke shouted, "Come get your copy! Help save the
animals!"
Amy smiled, "Let’s
make sure everyone knows what’s at stake."

"Tom and Nana worked hard to get the book into stores around Brite Star." Nana said, "Every book sold helps save the ranch.”
The bookstore owner replied, "Count me in—I’ll take 50 copies."

"Missy visited schools, sharing their story and teaching kindness." Missy said, "Every animal deserves a safe home.”
A student raised a hand, "Can we help too?"

"They took their message beyond Brite Star.”
Whit said,
"Let’s share our story online!"
Amy
added, "You’ve built something real. People will listen."

"The town rallied behind them—but not everyone was happy." Ken cheered, "We’ve sold 3,000 copies!”
Ben muttered to himself, "They
won’t win this."

"They were close—but time was running out."
Sam
Amy
said, "We’re still short."
gently said, "Don't stop now. You’ve come too far."

“Then something incredible happened."
The driver handed Missy a note, "Someone placed a huge order." Missy gasped, "This could be it!"

"The miracle they had hoped for had arrived.”
Mr. G looked at Amy,
"Maybe there’s more than one miracle happening here." Amy smiled softly.

"The ranch was safe. The community had come together—and maybe something even more was beginning to grow.”
Missy
said, "We did it... thanks to all of you."
Amy
placed a hand on Mr. G’s arm, "And maybe... we’ve just begun something new too."

"With the ranch safe, Missy and Amy shared their success with others." Missy said, "Helping other animals is what Brite Star is all about.”
Amy added,
"And sharing this story helps even more find safe homes."

"What started as a small idea became something big—a story of hope, teamwork, and love that saved Brite Star Ranch.”
Nana whispered, "This is what family does. We take care of each other—and everything we believe in."

Think About:
1.Why was selling the book so important to saving the ranch?
2.How did Amy become a part of the Brite Star Ranch family?
3.What does it mean to believe in something bigger than yourself?
