Know-how workshops at Maison LePailleur From Tuesday, March 6 to Friday, March 9 from 9 a.m. to noon $15 / workshop or $40 for 4 days (material included) Children aged 7 to 12 | Reservation mandatory | Limited places La Maison LePailleur offers four creative activities of three hours each. In this series of know-how workshops under the theme of RICH IN FIBERS, children are asked to explore handicraft and artistic techniques to make small original objects related to fibers. Thread, material, paper and plants are spotlighted during this Spring Break week!
March 6 | French or spool knitting Children are asked to create a decorative wreath using French knitting, also called spool knitting. Using this old technique, they can learn to knit while having fun. March 7 | Pocket cats Inspired by old handmade stuffed animals, this workshop teaches children the basics of sewing and embroidery. They will learn how to make a little plush toy by doing all of the steps from choosing a pattern and fabric to stuffing and finishing. March 8 | Decorating with dried plants Following in the ancient tradition of herbariums, this workshop features the making of a small book of botanical art. While waiting for the seasons that will allow them to choose plants that will dry flat, their small collection will be well assembled and decorated to hold their future harvest. March 9 | Growing in three hours Following in the steps of our ancestors, participants will plant seeds to watch their little plants grow at home. This workshop will also teach children how to prepare a charming terracotta pot to hold their plant.

Following the huge success of 2017, we will have a second edition of the Parc ÊphÊmère! A half day of free gym activities for toddlers and their parents! The park is primarily designed for children aged 1 to 6, but the whole family is welcome.
