For the 3rd consecutive year of the parade, Santa Claus and his helpers promise colourful festivities with illuminated floats, circus performers, marching bands, musicians, mascots and characters in costume, as well as several dance schools and organizations in the region.

INTEGRATION PROGRAM Activ’Été 2019 Bruno Bergevin, Assistant Coordinator for the Integration Program 450 698-3136 | bruno.bergevin@ ville.chateauguay.qc.ca Activ’Été is enthusiastically planning the 2019 Integration Program offered by the Ville de Châteauguay, which has become an unparalleled example over the years to day camps across the province.

The aim of the program is to enable a child with a disability to participate in the day-to-day activities of the day camp. To do this, the child will be paired with an aide who will provide the necessary support to facilitate his or her integration into the group.

Parents wishing to register their child must complete the online registration form available at www.ville.chateauguay.qc.ca/en/ integration-activete. The form must be received at the latest

Medium: Acrylic, charcoal on canvas Juan Manuel Vasquez’s works evoke depth through an artistic approach based on three pillars: identity, the indigenous world and refugees.

The artist questions us, shakes us up and moves us. His works lead to an introspection that can sometimes be obsessive but that allows us to see outward, towards the chaos of the world. His view and his exploration thus make it possible for us to gain an understanding of the forbidden.

The centre écologique Fernand-Seguin, the refuge faunique Marguerite-D’Youville on île Saint-Bernard, the visitor facilities, the activities offered and the high-quality sites are enjoyed by thousands of satisfied visitors during the winter period!

Refuge faunique Marguerite-D’Youville Hiking and nature observation $ There are entry fees for access to the protected area.

You can access the refuge through the Pavillon de l’île, where snowshoes and Nordic walking poles are available for rental.

For outdoor enthusiasts, Nordic walking and snowshoeing and 8 kilometers of trails enchant hikers. The site is open all year, seven days a week, from sunrise to sunset.

Café de l’île offers prepared meals on site, including their famous grilled cheese sandwiches, ramen soup and homemade smoked salmon bagels!

TORCHLIT NIGHT IN NATURE Saturday, February 2 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. $ Regular rates are charged for access to the reserve.

No reservation is necessary.

Snowshoe rental on site ($).

On specially lit trails, on foot or with snowshoes, this night hike will allow you to discover a remarkable natural site under the stars! The Café de l’île coffeehouse will be exceptionally open from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Recognized for its proximity to Montreal and the quality of its trails, the ecological centre and its new service chalet are available to thousands of visitors year round. Sledding and winter hiking activities will be offered as soon as conditions permit. At peak season, the site offers 20 km of cross-country ski trails, 4 km of snowshoeing trails, 2 km of hiking trails and a sledding hill.
