To complement a eology coursefocusedonthe Sacraments, Sr.HelenSanchezbrought theSeniorClassto theBasilica CathedralinNewark.ere,theynotonlysawand experienced whatthey hadstudiedabout thechurch'sarchitecture,theywere abletoreceivetheplenaryindulgenceofthe Jubilee Year.Intheir journals,theyexpressedhowtheywere impressedbythechurch's grand gothicsize,themassivestainedglass windows,the carved marblepulpitandnumerousstatues,theintricatemosaicStations oftheCross as wellasthe chapelsdedicatedtothedifferent ethnicgroupsresponsibleforbuildingthecathedral.
