Happy Fall!
As of today, Villa Walsh Academy is officially back to school for a month!
With that, we are excited to share some of the wonderful events that will take place during the month of October:
Dig Pink!
The Dig Pink volleyball match is Tuesday, October 10! Come out to support a great cause and cheer on VWA’s volleyball team!
Meet and Greet
On Wednesday, October 11, meet your daughter’s teachers, follow her schedule and see what she will be learning this year
Follow your daughter’s schedule for the Meet and Greet which starts at 11:45 am in the Grace Ann Café. Schedules were sent home with the students.
Please park down by Mother Ninetta Auditorium. Teachers will be available in the classrooms until 4 pm
PSAT/SAT Testing
Juniors and seniors who are signed up to take the PSAT/SAT on Wednesday, October 11, are the only students who need to come to school on this day.
Middle School Luncheon
The students in 7th and 8th grade will enjoy a luncheon and fun activities on October 18 in Assembly Hall.
Open House
VWA’s second Open House is on Wednesday, October 18 from 6:30 pm-8 pm. More details are on the Villa Walsh Academy website under the Admissions tab.
We had a very successful first Open House on October 1 which sparked much interest Please spread the word to any prospective students and families!
Individual Student Pictures
Students have the opportunity to be photographed on October 19 Please complete the envelope sent home in the Back to School Night folder, and send it to the business office with payment on or before October 19 Students may wear personal attire or their uniforms for pictures.
Middle School Retreat
The 7th and 8th grade students will attend a retreat at Christ the King parish in New Vernon on October 24 during the school day Retreat days help students reflect on their lives as well as bond as a class. More details will follow.
Junior Ring Ceremony
The Junior Ring Ceremony will take place on October 24 at 1 pm in the Chapel Only junior class parents are invited due to space limitations.
Mother/Daughter Dinner
The annual Mother/Daughter Dinner, 'MumsandMe', is scheduled for October 27 at 7 pm in the Mother Ninetta Auditorium This is a very special evening for both mothers and daughters - a beloved Villa Walsh Academy tradition! The highlight of the evening is the show choreographed by the seniors’ moms Now that’s entertainment!
Looking Ahead!
Color me HAPPY Fashion Show
On Saturday, November 18, at the Hanover Marriott in Whippany, your daughters will take the stage by storm to Color you HAPPY!
There are many opportunities to volunteer your time and talents for this great cause that helps enrich the educational opportunities for your daughters!

Christmas Assembly
The Christmas Assembly is December 20 This is also the first evening of winter break! What a beautiful way to ring in the holiday season!
