KINDNESS, FUN & FUNDRAISING
Students from Portland Central School were joined by Cullen Bullen students last Friday as inter-school Kindness Project. Leanne Walding from LINC has worked with students for two terms to develop personal resiliance and create projects to provide kindness to others. Students from both schools began with a ‘Circle of Friendship’ and then went on to enjoy a day of games, sport, activities and challenges, culminating in a wonderful fundraising lunch with all proceeds donated to cancer support group ‘Can Assist’. Woolworths kindly supplied food for the lunch for free to help maximise proceeds raised.
