Six Bells Fun Day raises £2671

Saturday 23rd July saw the return of the Six Bells, Billingshurst Charity Fun Day, raising much needed funds for The Midhurst Macmillan Service.

The sun shone and it wasn’t long before the pub garden was full, there were stalls, barbecue, bouncy castle, face painting, sweets stall, candy floss, cakes, tombola, raffle, auction and a raffle to win a wheelbarrow full of drinks. The evening continued with live music.

Kirsten, the pub’s Landlady was thrilled, saying, “Wow! Billingshurst, all I can say is thank you. It takes a lot of time and organisation to make a day like Saturday happen! I can’t say it’s been easy this year having had a lot going on both personally and with the pub. One of the things in the last year that stopped us in our tracks was my sister, Vicky, having skin cancer. It made today even more important. £2671.54 in one day was incredible. Imagine what we can do next year with no hiccups! Fingers crossed". Rowena Harris
