Eleanor Ramona Suggs June 19, 1917 - Sept. 28, 2004 Eleanor Ramona Suggs was a member of the National Golden Agers Club of Phoenix. She lead the fight to desegregate School District 151.
Berthalene Herring Aug. 30, 1932 - Nov. 15, 2004 Berthalene Herring was a member of the Phoenix Fest Committee, a Community Activist and a member of the Nurses Board and Culinary Ministries at Daniel Chapel AME Zion Church.
Lorraine Galberth served 12 years as Trustee of the Village of Phoenix. She served on the boards of numerous other organizations including District 151 School Board, NAACP Executive Board and a member of the National Golden Age Club of Phoenix.
