The Library has variety of programs planned throughout the winter. Book Discussions
Each month the Library hosts several book discussion groups. Copies of the books to be discussed are available at the Library’s circulation desk. January 25 at 10 a.m. — The Hours by Michael Cunningham February 2 at 7 p.m. — The Host by Stephenie Meyer February 22 at 10 a.m. — East of Eden by John Steinbeck March 1 at 7 p.m. — Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown Join the Library at 7 p.m. at the Bensenville Theatre for our monthly film programs: February 7 — Mr. Popper’s Penguins February 16 — The Conspirator
Family Nights The Bensenville Library is your source for family entertainment! All programs are suitable for children 10 years old and younger and their parents. Registration is required to attend: January 18 at 6:30 p.m. — Winter Luau February 8 at 6:30 p.m. — Stories to Love March 21 at 6:30 p.m. — Color Splash Join Scribbles the Library Bear for a great evening of hockey fun at the Chicago Steel’s Mascot Night at 7 p.m. Saturday, January 28, at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville. All the Chicago sports teams’ mascots will be roaming the crowd and performing their stunts on the ice. For tickets and more information, stop by the Library in January.

Admission is $3 for seniors and students, and $5 for adults. This event is sponsored by the Bensenville Arts Council.
St. Alexis Church is hosting a Valentine Dinner Dance on Saturday, February 11 at the church, 400 W. Wood, Bensenville, IL. Cocktail hour begins at 7 p.m, with dinner at 8 p.m. and dancing from 9 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $20 if purchased by January 29, and $25 after January 29.
