BENSENVILLE PARK DISTRICT SUMMER CAMPS BEGIN JUNE 11TH The Bensenville Park District Summer Day Camp Program offers a noncompetitive atmosphere where youngsters can socially interact and participate in a variety of activities. Children 6-10 will enjoy either Adventure Camp or Sports Camp and ages 11-15 will like the variety of activities offered at Teen Camp. Camp fees for these full-time camps include a free healthy lunch provided by the Northern Illinois Food Bank, weekly field trips, visits to the Bensenville Water Park and more. Parents may pick and choose their child’s camp days and have the opportunity to secure before and after camp care services. Other camps offered include Fischer Farm’s Discovery Camp held June 11- July 20 and part-time camps for ages 2-5, Tot Camp and Sunshine Camp. Swim Lesson Registration is Underway The Bensenville Park District’s Learn to Swim Program, for beginners and advanced swimmers, emphasizes improving swimming ability, increasing confidence and water safety under the instruction of competent, experienced instructors. Group and private swim lessons are offered on weekdays and Saturdays. Register at the Deer Grove Leisure Center. Call 630.766.7015 with any questions.

FRIDAY | JUNE 29 | 5-10PM Free admission! Families will enjoy a DJ, games, entertainment, crafts and waterpark fun! At dusk, guests are invited to watch and enjoy the movie Sing on the hill in the Water Park.

CIVIL WAR REENACTMENT WEEKEND

SATURDAY | JUNE 23 & SUNDAY | JUNE 24 | 10AM-3PM Step back in time one hundred and fifty years during one of the most significant events in our history. There will be a rally for drills in the morning and a skirmish in the afternoon as well as first-person presentations throughout the day. Attendees will be able to meet the soldiers, listen to music, and learn about civilian life during this time. The canon will be fired at 11am, 12pm and 1pm. Admission fees are $5 for adults and children under 13 are $2; pay at the event.
