Support the BCF and The Human Race Join hundreds of walkers and runners and help support the Bensenville Community Foundation by participating in The Human Race 5K run and Fitness walk April 27.

FCHS Spring Musical is ‘LEGALLY Blonde’ Fenton Community High School is proud to present the spring musical, “LEGALLY Blonde” at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20 in the Lewis-Huffman Auditorium at Fenton. “LEGALLY Blonde” is based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film of the same name. It tells the story of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who enrolls at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend, Warner. In the process, Elle discovers she is more than her outward appearance. The FHS drama department is working with over 70 cast members and over 40 crew members to bring this new and fresh musical to life on stage.

The race brings together non-profit organizations from throughout the county for one event, at 9 a.m. April 27 at the Esplande at Locust Point, 1091 Butterfield Road, Downers Grove. For more information or to register online, visit www.dupagehumanrace.org. The 5k is a timed race USATF sanctioned. Register in advance or the day of the event, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Quilt Show, appraiser at Fischer Farm AQS Certified Appraiser Sherry Branson will be at the Fischer Farm Quilt Show on April 6 and 7. Call 815 713-1963 for appointments.

Senior Citizen Matinee

Why get a quilt appraised?

A luncheon and special matinee performance of “Legally Blonde” will be performed for Bensenville and Wood Dale senior citizens at noon on Saturday, April 20. The performance will begin at 1:00 p.m. There is no admission charge for this event but pre-registration is required. To make a reservation, call 630860-8620 from April 3 - April 10. Please leave a message with your name, phone number and the number of people attending.

In case of fire, insurance companies will only give you the cost of a blanket. Many family heirloom quilts can be worth more than you imagined. Ms. Branson will tell you if your quilt is worth an appraisal and is donating a portion of her fees to Fischer Farm.
