WATCH: Jeff Lake’s New

Budding Star Gives a Fresh Lo

w Take On The Beatles

ook to “I’ve Just Seen A Face” Budding Americana artist Jeff Lake’s video - "I've Just Seen A Face", an impressive new rendition of The Beatles fan fav, premiered Thursday June 16th at 7am EST. Jeff gives an uptempo, bluegrass treatment to this Lennon/ McCartney classic, infusing it with new life using mandolin, banjo, fiddle, upright bass & his patented smooth tenor vocals. The video also features Jeff ’s longtime friend and musical compadre Karen Lloyd singing backup. You can listen to "I've Just Seen A Face" on Jeff's EP - "Field of Grass" - now available on CD & digital outlets worldwide. Jeff Lake’s debut EP, “Field of Grass” was released in August of 2021 by WBA Records in Nashville and distributed worldwide by The Orchard/ Sony. During the last 8 months, the 5 song collection has amassed over 200k streams on Spotify. The opening track, “Better Times Will Come” has led the way with 120k views on You Tube. The title track serves as a stark contrast to the bright, upbeat tempo of “Better Times…” revealing a darker and more poetic side of Lake’s writing, as well as his high tenor vocal range. Lake sings “so are we men of the world, or is the world for man to use and throw away”. You can also check out the video for the title track “Field Of Grass”, which was appropriately released on Earth Day 2022. Lake’s brand new 10 song album, “Seven Days” is due to hit CD & digital outlets worldwide later this year. Recording artist Jeff Lake combines elements of rock, folk, bluegrass & country music for his own brand of Americana. A multi-genre songwriter, he has written music for Universal Greece recording artist, Michalis, the theme song for CBS’s Latin American Idol spinoff show, the “Nueva Estrella Awards”, as well as recent collaborations with up & coming hip hop artist, Seon. As a guitarist & band-leader, Jeff has perfected his craft by playing alongside members of the Billy

Joel Band, the Dennis DeYoung Band (Styx), and the Transiberian Orchestra. His career began as a frontman for hair metal band, Big Bang, opening for groups such as Winger, White Lion & Extreme. His melodic, lyric-driven songs and down-to-earth approach are gaining him an international audience. The Blue Movie Chronicles... From its inception, Blue Movie has set out to make a unique collection of original music that treads the fine lines between musical genres, including heavy rock, metal, industrial, goth, synth and pop. From studio to stage, the band strives to relay the sincere and real emotions of their music to the listener. Blue Movie’s sound encapsulates many of the band’s various musical influences, which include hard edged guitar riffs, driving bass runs, uncensored drumming, deep stirring synth lines, and catchy vocal phrasing. With “that” elusive concept cemented, the band released their debut EP, “8MM Love Songs” in late 2012 spawning their single Murder Will Out. The concept of this video inspired local comic artists/publications to create a compilation comic based on the band’s real life events while tying in their music to the storylines. With the release of “On The Loose” -”The Blue Movie Chronicles” the band found themselves at NYC Comic Con 3 years running. The sequel, “Delusions in Technicolor” (2014), further expressed the band’s ability to once again morph their sound while pushing the bar of their writing and production skills in the studio. “Sewing Shadows” track no.3 from Delusions, best showcases the intricacies of their studio work as well as an array of ear catching melodies and blending of textures which

set the mood for this EP. The Epic 8 minute music video for Sewing Shadows along with 2 comic releases that year (Survive the Five & Revelations Pt1), catapulted Blue Movie into the sub-pop genre world of Zombies and monsters. Then came “Synthetic III” (2015), embracing a darker tonality with raw aggressive energy. Title tracks “Nebula” & “Electric Water” leave no doubts as to the band’s abilities to stay ahead of the curve of today’s multifaceted music scene. The elaborate and conceptual musical content of Synthetic III, required Blue Movie to revamp their line up as well as their live performance so as to translate “their unique sound and message” without any misconceptions. Various guest musicians in and on stage ensure performances are never the same twice! DonnaMarie SanSevero, also known in their comic book world as “Summer” aka DM, can be seen and heard and has been sprinkled all over the Blue Movie brand throughout the years. She appears on various songs and videos across the Blue Movie discography and their various music videos as well as performed live with the band on many occasions. Blue Movie supported the release of SYNTHETIC III with a new line up and a new stage show. With this new development, “Echoes Across Time,” Blue Movie’s 4th comic is released, which ties in the real-life story of the members transitions, while continuing the chronicles of

the band’s misadventures through alternate universes all while being hunted by their arch-evil nemesis “Summer.” 2018 yielded the darkest and heaviest material from the band to date with the release of “Broken Machines.” The self-titled track & video, “Broken Machines”, takes you through a journey of a visual blood bath as intricate guitar taps combined with riveted double bass pedals, growling off time bass lines and finally laced with bloody murder screams sweetened with a melodic breakdown all intertwined to a melodic chaos. Shortly after the single dropped, the music video followed and is definitely not for the faint of heart. Additional singles & videos released from Broken Machines was “The Prisoner”, showcasing a live performance video from the band. Later followed by “ The Cold Song”, originally intended as a “dark themed holiday single, made it to the album with its haunting string arrangements and an unmistakable grand piano haunting melody. An Epic Video production was set for “The Cold Song” featuring unique landscapes and textures shot over various seasons which takes you on a visual cryptic journey to the “dead of winter”. Blue Movie is currently writing and recording material for their 5th upcoming release (title tbd) slated for completion in late 2022 or early 2023. To kickstart the upcoming album, Blue Movie embarked on a remake of Duran Duran’s “Ordinary

World”, which was vocally led by DM. Her prominent role in Blue Movie, is once again showcased here, with her appearance in the already released video for this remake. This upcoming release will capture two remakes to rival their usual one which is a staple for each of their releases. The soon to be released “She Wolf ” by Sia & David Guetta, will be featuring guest vocal spot from original vocalist, PJ Griffith. The band also released their first original trackfor this up and coming released titled “The Hook” which showcases a guitar solo from Skid Row’s “Snake” giving the fans a “taste” of what’s ahead. The video and the song “The Hook”is now streaming on all platforms globally. In between writing and recording, Blue Movie is performing a limited run of shows and interviews before embarking for shows back to Europe in 2023. Blue Movie has toured around the States and internationally in Europe and Colombia. They have headlined various shows and have shared the stage with The Hollywood Undead, Puddle of Mudd, Buckcherry, Otep, Tracii Guns, Lynch Mob, Jinjer, Fire from the Gods, as well as many others. Their live show is a “must see” experience defined as pure Chaos & Order.

Blue Movie is Tony Paris - guitars, Lisa Foerderer - drums, Dianna Ferrand - bass, and Anthony Noto - vocals. Access all the Chaos & updates here at www.bluemoviemusic.com

Journey with Nonstop to Cair

Talented Crew Brings the Noi Ska + Hip Hop Flavain Y

Nonstop to Cairo are proud to present “Million irrepressible onstage energy while also adding a Dollar Space”, the eclectic new single from their touch of polish, resulting in a listening experience forthcoming release, “KAI”. that’s as inviting as it is invigorating. And, as KAI’s glorious eruption of sound shows, the band has Five years after their debut full-length “Dabble grown ever more fluent in its melange of styles. Heavy”, Nonstop To Cairo return with their sophomore offering “KAI”, which once again This time, Nonstop To Cairo ease their way from showcases the Long Island outfit’s irresistible blend bracing punk (album opener “Awkward Situations”) of rock, rap, ska, funk, and punk. After years of to smooth-sailing reggae (“Throw It Away”) to jazztearing the roof off of joints with their electrifying inflected funk (“Pope Funk”) to classic rock (“Hand live show, KAI captures Nonstop To Cairo’s of Fate”), to heartfelt, blues balladry driven by horns

ro to a “Million Dollar Space”

ise with their Fusion of Funk, Ya Ear on Fresh New Jam and organ (“Not Today”), etc. Where hairpin turns from one genre to the next were once part of the thrill, the band now glides with agility and grace, as if all of its influences have finally gelled into a seamless whole and a signature style that it can claim as its own... Looking back, it’s funny to think that Nonstop To Cairo frontman August Harris never envisioned himself playing in a band. When he left the house on his skateboard one day in the early 2000s, his intention was simply to scope-out the neighborhood his family had just moved to after relocating from Brooklyn to Long Island. Just a block and a half

from home, he turned into a cul de sac, where he saw a group of skateboarders congregating in front of a house. Unsurprisingly, that group of skater kids turned out to be his adoptive group of friends. Unbeknownst to Harris, however, his future musical partner, guitarist Nick Diamond was inside the house. In so many respects, KAI is a document of the deep, abiding bond that persists not only between Diamond and Harris, but between everyone who’s ever played in the band. Theirs is a story forged on Long Island’s quintessentially suburban lanes and set to a ‘90s soundtrack—an ode, above all, to friendship and survival. Trumpet player/keyboardist Kevin Anand Itwaru, whose initials make up the album title, died tragically just before KAI was recorded; and while the music is deepened by the band’s grief, it has by no means lost its penchant for celebration. In fact, to listen to Harris and Diamond look back on the music of their youth, one gets a sense of warm nostalgia not unlike what American Graffiti communicated to an entire generation fifty years ago—yes, KAI has the power and reach to speak to that wide of an audience. In the best sense of the term, Nonstop To Cairo makes music that’s built to belong to everyone. The Donna Drake Show

Photos: Lou Vaccarelli

Kirsten Hirt written on her first day interning for The Donna Drake Show

For the past ten years, Donna Drake, local TV and media celebrity, has showcased the winners and presenters of The Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards with her red carpet coverage. This year held a “Huntington” surprise. On June 2, 2022, the18th Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards were held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in California presented by NATPE. Each year the award is presented to industry professionals who have set the gold standard in career excellence and industry innovation. Tartikoff had an unequaled love for television, life, and family. His legacy lives on as being one of the medium’s most excellent program executives in television history. Tartikoff brought us Alf, Hill Street Blues, Law & Order, Family Ties, Seinfeld, The Golden Girls, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Cheers, Taxi, and more. This year’s honorees include Channing Dungey, Whoopi Goldberg, Alex Kurtzman, Amy Poehler, Maury Povich, Jeff Sagansky, and William Shatner. The presenters were Nancy O’Dell, Connie Chung, Kaley Cuoco, Robert Friedman, Pearlena Igbokwe, Sonequa Martin-Green and former recipient, Henry Winkler. Drake visited with all awardees and presenters, except Whoopi who attended virtually. Walking Dead star and First Officer of Star Trek: Discovery, Martin-Green told Donna, “I just want to do the story justice,

those that come after me justice and those that came before me justice…” she responded after Drake asked about her thoughts as she brings diversity and inclusion to the First Officer role. Donna asked Maury what receiving the Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Award meant to him. Povich responded, “Brandon, and I had a long talk about how to start my talk show, he said don’t come out too hot or too cold. Come out in a medium way but you better start building after that..31 years later I’m here.” Paul Faulhaber, Maury Povich’s Executive Producer, is also a Long Island resident and lives in the same town as Donna. They found humor in the fact they had to travel across the country to meet with people who only live a walking distance away. That of course is the magic of NATPE where it’s truly the place to network and facilitate new deals. Stay tuned to see what’s happening in film, tv and vodcasting over at Drake Media Studios. Spinal Thermography for Early Detection of Conditions and Disease Infinite wellness utilizes revolutionary technology that gets to the root cause of any health concerns that you have, and will pick up something that you may not even be aware of having. It’s called Advanced Thermography. It’s an infrared light that scans your spine from the bottom all the way up to the base of the skull and it detects any blockages on your nervous system that is preventing your body from functioning normally or being able to heal properly. Since your nervous system controls every function of your body, including heart rate, circulation, metabolism, hormones, and immune system, it is imperative to know if you’re nervous system is functioning at its fullest potential. This thermography scan, which is designed by NASA, is non-invasive, totally painless, takes only minutes to do, and is extremely accurate. It allows us to detect thermal abnormalities in the body which can indicate the early onset of disease much earlier than physical symptoms would actually begin to appear. This thermography scan information allows for quicker results and sooner intervention. Early detection is always the best defense in the prevention of disease and illness.

At Infinite Wellness we focus on correcting the cause of disease by addressing the physical, chemical, and emotional stressors to the body rather than just merely masking or treating the symptoms.
