This final year studio project at the University of Oregon, under the guidance and supervision of Professor Dylan Wood, focuses its design on creating a space for creativity and play, while emphasizing sustainable actions and low-carbon solutions through a fully disassemblable Mass Timber Structure as a tool for adaptive reuse in this historic landmark on the Eugene Riverfront. The project design is centered around the historic nature of Oregons Timber community, and supports the innovation of that through a Mass Timber fabrication facility, a Recreation Center and Office space that are easily adaptable.
