AYURVEDIC CONCEPT OF ULCERATIVE COLITIS Excessive heat, exposure of the sun, alcohol, smoking, too much mental activity, omitting meals, taking spicy, sour, salty foods aggravates pitta . In Pitta constitution persons , Pitta gets vitated very fast, resulting in diarrhea followed by blood and mucous.
