CSC-ILOCOS ENDOWS THE CGV AS PRIMEHRM MATURITY LEVEL II ON RECRUITMENT, SELECTION AND PLACEMENT

The Civil Service Commission - Ilocos Sur led by Director Romulo Nabua recognized the City Government of Vigan for achieving the PRIME-HRM Maturity Levell II on Recruitment, Selection and Placement at Vigan City Hall Lobby.

City Mayor Juan Carlo Medina together with SPM Ramil Arce and the City Human Resource Management Office headed by HRMO Geozita Baxter acknowledged the said award.

“This recognition is for the people of Vigan who shall be assured of public servants who are recruited, selected and appointed according to a set of processes defined within the HR system.” Baxter said.

The CSC’s Program to Institutionalize Meritrocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) is the integration and enhancement of the Personnel Management Assessment and Assistance Program (PMAAP) and the CSC Agency Accreditation Program (CSCAAP).

It is a mechanism to continuously capacitate agencies in the performance of their human resource management, recognize best practices and serve as a venue for exchange and development of expertise.

Also, it entails greater engagement not just of Human Resource Management Officer but also of the officials and the rank-and-file employees of the agency.
