Gallery Space View Art Gallery occupies a large and flexible commercial exhibiting space of c.1500 sq ft in Bristol’s Harbourside. Five zones over two floors enable whole or partial space usage for a multitude of events. As well as presenting innovative contemporary art shows, the space has been used for a variety of purposes, including: Fashion show, book launch, wine tasting, art degree show, clothing company launch, photography lecture, networking event, TV ‘wrap’ party, pop-up exhibitions... and more. We are proud of our space and enjoy sharing it with others to help promote or celebrate their businesses and passions. Meter parking outside the gallery with the exception of 4-15-6.30pm when used as a bus lane. 24 hour parking available less than 5 minutes walk.
The space can be flexed to be used in many different ways, whether it be a party of 200 people or a small function for 20.
Double shop-front windows to show products to cars and pedestrians on a very busy road to/from Bristol town centre.
The gallery layout is open plan on the top floor with 3 zones which can be adapted as separate areas or one large space. There is a basement under Zone 3 which is partially overlooked from a gallery and walkway.
food and drink
We can arrange fine wines, finger food, canapes, or creative novelty foods to suit any occasion. Alternatively, do your own thing and use our wine cooler, giant ice bucket and 150 glasses - you can even do the washing up!
An intimate cinema space downstairs is equipped with an HD projector, speakers, DVD, CD and PC. This is integrated with the upstairs PC, 40â€? LCD screen, and 6 ceiling mounted speakers, for ultimate audio-visual flexibility. Broadband internet and Wi-fi complete the technology picture.
Natural light comes from two sources; the double shop-front and the three lines of skylights provide gentle daylight. The white walls benefit from dimmable â€˜washâ€™ lights that can create different moods. The track lighting houses movable spotlights to highlight products.
Our branding is prominent on the exterior double shop front, but can be shared with temporary additional branding on windows and walls, if required.
We can arrange an event photographer to help provide lasting memories of special occasions. The photographer can be briefed for specific shots or allowed a free reign to record the overall mood of the evening. Output can be presented in any medium, from raw files on DVD to printed book, and anywhere in between.
Painted floors throughout provide a washable surface and low risk of staining or damage. Walls are routinely repainted white to retain a fresh and modern look and cover hand and foot marks. Alarmed doors and CCTV help protect your products.
