The heat pump pushes the liquid refrigerator with an expansion valve on the indoor coil to cool the home. The refrigerator draws heat energy from the indoor air that is blown over the coils.
The resulting cool air is then blown through the exhaust channels of the home. This process causes the liquid refrigerator to turn into gas as it absorbs heat.
The gas refrigerator then flows to the compressor, where it receives pressure. The compressed gas gets more heat and passes through the system to the coil on the external unit.
The fan is an external unit that blows external air into the coils, which act as a condenser. The difference in temperature and pressure between the hot refrigerator and the outside air allows the unit to release heat into the atmosphere.
As the refrigerator cools, it returns to a liquid state, which is then pumped into the system into an expansion valve in the indoor unit. The expansion valve reduces the pressure of the liquid refrigerator and cools continuously.
This refrigeration cycle repeats itself until the heat pump reaches the required temperature.
