The non-surgical nature of PlexR means minimal downtime and reduced risks compared to surgical options, making it a popular choice for anyone looking to get rid of hooded and droopy eyelids without going under the knife. At Vie Aesthetics, we have treated thousands of patients with PlexR, also known as PlexR Soft Surgery. Our doctors use PlexR for instant reduction of the excess skin on the upper or lower eyelid, as well as the shrinking of any excess skin in the external region around the eye. It can even improve any expression lines at the corner of your eyes and cheekbones (the facial lines commonly known as crow’s feet). Unlike invasive surgical techniques, PlexR utilises plasma energy to rejuvenate and tighten the skin around the eyes through "sublimation". The procedure involves plasma fusion to contract and tighten your skin’s surface stimulating the natural healing process and promoting the production of collagen and elastin. As a result, the skin tightens, wrinkles are reduced, and eyelids become lifted, giving a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.

PlexR can achieve a wide range of results including: correcting hooded and droopy eyelids wrinkle correction for face and neck reduction of acne scars skin discolouration issues, such as sunspots, cloasma, melasma and vitiligo moles, skin tags, warts and verrucas xanthelasma (without side-effects or possible recurrences).

Each session can achieve reduction up to 30% of the treated area. Based on the amount of the excess skin, a course of 2-3 treatments is usually needed to achieve your goals. There is no limitation to having more sessions, as long as you allow for the suggested time in between treatments. This can vary based on skin type, healing time, and skin texture. PRP THERAPY PLATELET-RICH-PLASMA Dramatically hailed in the media as the “Vampire” or “Dracula” face-lift, PRP (Platelet-Rich-Plasma) Therapy is a completely natural method for skin rejuvenation and repair. By harnessing the healing power of your very own blood, this treatment can visibly reduce loose skin and wrinkles in your face (especially around your eyes, mouth, and nose), in the neck and on the back of your hands. PRP Therapy can be also effective for treating scars, such as acne and surgical scars, and stretch marks as well as help battle hair loss in both men and women, especially when combined with other hair loss treatments.

During PRP Therapy, our doctor takes a small amount of your blood, which is then processed and filtered to isolate your plasma that contains the platelets. The doctor injects this platelet-rich plasma into your treatable areas, causing the fluid to release its proteins and work their natural magic in your skin. For skin and face concerns, it will take a few weeks for the results of the PRP treatment to show. However, with two to three top-up treatments, the results of PRP therapy can last for up to 12, or even 18 months.

PRP FOR HAIRLOSS In the last few years, PRP therapy has emerged as an intriguing preventative treatment for hair loss, suitable for both men and women. By separating your own blood (as described above) and then injecting the new Platelet-Rich-Plasma sample into your scalp, it is believed that any stem cells around your targeted hair follicles are kickstarted into action. The result is that new hair growth can be promoted, even with follicles that had previously been inactive. PRP therapy can be used in conjunction with all hair loss medications, such as Minoxidil and DHT blockers, such as finasteride, as well as Regenera Activa. You can even use it to complement any hair transplant procedures you may have had elsewhere, the injections working to stimulate the newly planted follicles in your scalp. As with all hair loss treatments, results vary from patient to patient, but PRP therapy has been shown to improve hair calibre and hair thickness. For optimal results, we recommend that you repeat PRP procedures every three to four months.

PLENHYAGE XL THE FUTURE OF SKIN REJUVENATION PlenhyageXL is a ground-breaking injectable treatment that acts on two levels: Prevention and Repair. Unlike dermal fillers and other skin boosters that contain traditional hyaluronic acid, PlenhyageXL uses Polynucleotides (PDRNs), the building blocks of protein. PDRNs have been scientifically proven to be highly effective at repairing damaged tissue, stimulating fibroblasts, and increasing moisture levels in the skin. In fact, PlenhyageXL uses DNA to alter the behaviour of the skin cells and promote collagen production, to attract water molecules, and to counter-act free radicals. As a result, the treatment helps reduce acne scarring, rosacea, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, UV spots, sagging, and other signs of aging, while promoting healthier looking skin.

BOTOX INJECTIONS Botulinum Toxin injections help relax the muscles in your face to smooth out lines and wrinkles. PROFHILO The 5-Point Lift The 5-Point Lift with Profhilo not only remodels sagging skin tissue, but also gives it a health kick by hydrating the skin from deep within. The main ingredient in Profhilo is 100% hyaluronic acid, which is typically found in dermal fillers. However, Profhilo is different in that it is both a bio-remodelling gel and a potent moisturiser that gets deep inside the skin where it matters.

Hyaluronic Acid is a natural substance found within our bodies, therefore it is a completely safe treatment. It is injected with precision into specific points and is absorbed naturally by your skin. This process restores volume instantly and helps deliver an individualised natural appearance. The treatment itself takes around 20 30 minutes and results are instantly visible. Downtime is minimal and you can rturn to normal activities right away. There is some risk of bruising, swelling and tenderness after treatment, which should clear in the following days.

Any discomfort is minimal and a topical anaesthetic can be applied. NON-SURGICAL RHINOPLASTY WITH FILLER Non-surgical Rhinoplasty involves injecting absorbable fillers into your problem area to add volume, lift, and straighten the nose, as required. Non-Surgical Nose Jobs can also make the nose appear smaller or slimmer if desired. Our practitioners use a range of fillers, which are injected into precise points, according to each patient’s own individual needs. These products are naturally absorbed by the skin and continue to work over many months by stimulating the production of new collagen. By carefully injecting absorbable fillers, our medical expertss can correct a number of problems including:

NON-SURGICAL FACELIFT Endolift® is excellent for skin tightening and non-surgical facelifts. It involves using Eufoton®, a cutting edge laser-based technology, which is applied under the skin to stimulate both deep and superficial layers of skin. This innovative treatment helps treat sagging and loose skin by remodelling skin layers, tightening the skin, boosting collagen production reducing excess fat. Results can be seen as early as 4 to 8 weeks but it continues to work over time and peaks at 12 months. Hair V Go Hair V Go is specifically targeted towards vellus hairs or ‘peach fuzz’. Vellus hairs are different to other hairs in that they have a narrow cortex and little-tono melanin. Due to their unique characterisation, peach fuzz can not be effectively tackled by hair removal treatments such as electrolysis, waxing, laser and IPL (Intense Pulsed Light). Hair V Go is a high-pH treatment that targets the keratin in the hair. A special paste is first applied which breaks down the keratin and dissolves the hair deep within its follicle. The cells in the hair are also gradually disabled, preventing any repeat growth. During your treatment, the paste is removed, and then the area is cleansed with pH Reset Cleanser, which restores the skin’s acid balance. A specially formulated cream containing botanical hair growth inhibitors is then applied to the treated area as a further layer of defence.

SPIDER OR THREAD VEIN REMOVAL Micro-Sclerotherapy Injections & O.F.F.

Thread or spider veins, also known by their medical term “telangiectasia varicose veins”, are red and irregular in appearance. They are the result of very fine dilated veins lying just beneath the surface of the skin. We offer injections for the body and treatment with O.F.F. for the face.

A. MICROSCLEROTHERAPY WITH INJECTIONS

During the microsclerotherapy session, our doctor carefully injects a substance, Sclerovein, directly into the veins, causing them to shrink. The injections contain local anaesthetic ensuring that any discomfort is minimal. Following each session, you will be given high-compression stockings to wear continuously for several days to support the treatment. You may experience some brown discolouration of the skin, which can appear for up to three months. You should start seeing results over the course of a few weeks. Between 60% – 70% of veins treated during any one microsclerotherapy session usually disappear. Microsclerotherapy treatment may need to be repeated, usually after six weeks. Most or all vessels treated during the course of microsclerotherapy will be gone.

B. FRACTIONAL FLOW WAVES (O.F.F.)

For thread veins in the face, we use the Fractional Flow Waves (O.F.F.) technology to apply fractional heat energy on the underlying tissues in the problem area, causing the blood vessels to contract and attach themselves to each other. Blood is stripped from inside the veins, leaving you with a clearer, untroubled appearance. After O.F.F. Thread Vein Removal, you will likely experience redness and some local discolouration, which is greyish, for up to 10 – 14 days. With O.F.F. Thread Vein Removal, you will see results instantly. However, for the full effect to occur, you will typically need to wait between two to three weeks. You may need a second session after around four weeks.

Note that results are permanent. However, if you have a tendency to develop spider veins, or you have a separate disposition, the condition may reoccur in the same place.

AQUALYX® FAT DISSOLVING INJECTIONS Aqualyx® is a specially formulated compound solution that is injected into areas where there is a build-up of stubborn fat. Aqualyx® liquefies the targeted fat cells. The liquefied fat is then flushed out naturally by your body’s lymphatic system. Fat-dissolving injections are administered by Medical Practitioners only and involve the use of an elastic needle for optimal comfort. This means even smaller areas can be treated, these include:
